It does not fall off easily. It holds my iPhone. Because of the weight of my phone, the vent closes when I attach the phone, though.

Seems sturdy so far, only negative is that I can only clip on the bottom vent cuz it is too heavy to put on a higher one and it collapses the vents

I really like the ease of this phone mount. Can put phone on the mount with no problem and remove quite simply as well. I think it's better than a suction phone mount that you have to put on the windshield.

For as simple as it is it’s easy to use but also very study when driving. I didn’t factor in the fact that my Jeep has rotating vents that could turn on bumpy roads but other than that it serves it purpose just fine.

Fantastic vent phone holder. Clips tight on the vent slates and holds the phone well. Using the release clip is easy and pushing the phone against the back to engage is intuitive.

Our family has had a number of iOttie mobile phone holders. We gave up on the "suction cup, dashboard mounts" that never seemed to hold, on today's textured dashboards that let air in under the portion trying to maintain a good suction hold. Enter the "Vent Mount" and iOttie. Wow. Works great! Easy mounting, easy "grasping" of the phone and easy release. Plenty of vents in different locations around the front of the car, so you can find the place you want the holder, and the device easily rotates to accomodate portrait or landscape displays. There's little I can say that isn't positive about these devices except - this model's "gripper jaws" that are designed to hold onto ONE vent blade are TIGHT. We had previously used a different model of the iOttie Vent Mount, but when looking for an additional one, that model seemed to either be discontinued, or just not carried at our local Best Buy. This one seemed to be similar enough, so we bought it. Unfortunately, the gripper vise was so tight, that the first time we tried to install it we BROKE the vent blade while trying to get it inserted into the vise. (Granted, the car is 10 years old, and I may have "brute forced" the device on too much). But once we managed to get the mount connected to another vent blade, this baby has STAYED PUT and does everything you would want it to do. Buy this - you and your phone will appreciate the simplicity, low cost and great performance.

Thanks to BestBuy sales rep who advise to buy this iPhone car holder. Easy snap to mount to my car (Prius) vent, where is stays steady. Particularly handy when I use navigation from my phone.

This product works well if you don't mind your phone falling out pretty frequently. Sitting still I never have an issue but sometimes when I hit a very mild bump or just a vibration to the car driving down the road will knock the phone out. I say it happens about 20 times A-day I drive for 8 hours A-day. Is that gives you perspective on how often this happens I have a relatively large phone all the not the largest with Otterbox on it I have not tried without the Otterbox as I am a klutz and I will break my phone. Clip stays well attach to vent and the actual mount does not move once you Get it in place

This is excellent. Easy to move to a different vehicle. Installed in seconds. Fits my iPhone6s with Otterbox on it. My husband is going to buy one for his truck and he is picky and fussy about any phone holders.

Simple design. Single spring-loaded grip clamps securely to a single vent blade. Small design has less interference with vent air flow. Holds an iPhone 5s or SE securely. Haven't tried with heavier phone.

I purchased one of these about 6 months ago. Still working well and operational. It has two different ways to tighten the swivels and connections. This holds better on the vent fins than I have found in other similar devices. I went through about 10 different competing products before finding this one. It holds my Samsung Note 10 (wider than most phones) with no issues. Would I recommend it? Well, I bought 3 more for my wife, daughter and her husband for Christmas, so I would say YES!

A little tight for iPhone 11 with case. Holds well, my phone has only slipped out once when I had to brake suddenly.

I've been using vent mounts for years. I prefer them over other mounts for different reasons. This is my favorite so far. It doesn't fall from the vent. It's pretty sturdy and easy to use. I had to get two!

I have always had phone mounts like this one and the ones that stick onto your windshield. None of them really worked good for me. They would fall, or get loose. I then switched to the magnet style mounts and they are awesome but you have to always stick the thin piece of metal on your phone or on the back of your case. A friend told me about this one a while back. After getting a new phone and not wanting to really stick a metal plate on it I decided to give this one a try. It's the best one that I have ever used, point, blank, period.

This is a very sturdy phone holder. It keeps the phone in place and have tested breaking the car and it still holds on tight. I also like that it is not to big to be in the way.

This is a great product. Holds the phone nicely, very easy to use and easy to install and move around to different vents or to a different car. I recommend this

I love how easy this is to install, just a couple of plastic nuts to secure and then the phone is positioned to view! The best part? How easily it snaps in and out of the mount. Oh, and the price is right too! Only negative point is that the weight of the phone pulls the a/c vents down directing the air flow down as well. Thankfully we have other vents to direct onto our hot faces!

This phone mount is simple to use and works great. Just have to remember to shut off the vent you choose to use. If you position it so the bottom of the phone rests on the vent it is very stable.

It holds good and phone is pretty stable, I find the release a little awkward to use, have to use 2 hands

This is the 2nd one I've owned. My son broke the first one. It attaches very well to the car vent and can hold my phone horizontally or vertically. Easy to use, holds firmly.
