This has all you need for travel and charging. It’s compact design makes it easy to take with you. The magnetic mount secures well to he car vent. I have a Note 5 phone, For my phone it does not hold strong enough without the metal plate but the hold is very strong with metal plate even with case. It's much easier to use then having to fit it in a expandable mount, just pop it on and you’re good to go. The car charger works as expected, charges phone at high speed. The cord is good quality and the lightening adapter is great so that one cable is all you need to charge all your devices. Overall very satisfied with the product.

Living in a city prone to pot holes, I wasn't sure if this would actually hold my phone during my entire commute. It's surpassed my expectations and has made my commute much safer. I'll be purchasing another, and recommending. If you need a holder for hands free talking, this is it.

Works fine for my car and phone. Secure hold and easy rotation of phone. Only reason not 5 stars is only works on certain vent set ups

As an uber driver, the cell phone holder holds my cell phone perfectly well, even in bumps.

Owned this for about a year and half now, and it's still working well. Only use the mounting on the air vent, and haven't had any problems.

Nice gadget but unfortunately was not compatible with the car I drove. Had to return it.

Since the mid-90's, I've owned probably over a hundred different phone mounts in every possible configuration, in every possible vehicle; sports cars, SUVs, trucks, bicycles, motorcycles, even FIRE ENGINES! I consider myself a very critical expert regarding mounts. I require top quality construction and durability, secure hold, and a classy/clean looking product whether or not there's a phone mounted. I've owned over a half dozen iOTTIE mounts and even as recent as last week, they replaced one that had a bit too much play in the arm. No hassles; just friendly customer service committed to not only delivering a quality product, but also making sure their customers remain satisfied with their products. THE MOUNT: So, this great little vent mount kit...super great! The vent mount is minimal yet really secure. They add an ingenious backing plate that snaps onto the mount which gives it more stability by restricting the vent from flopping down too far. I'm very particular about protecting my car's finish so I've a little leery to use a metal plate which will scratch my dash after time. Fro that reason, I'd endure a little more wobbliness in lieu of protecting my dash. Unique to this little mount is that you can remove it and it doubles as a STAND to prop your phone up so you can watch a movie. Don't pass this off as something trivial; having this on a long flight is something I WISH I had in the past as I tried everything, under the sun, to prop my iPhone up to watch a movie! This little vent mount is unique in that it has two aspects with two different jaw thicknesses. This allows you to achieve the best grip on whatever size louvers your vents have. I have an F-150 and I use the wider of the two. THE QUALITY: iOTTIE not only cares about fit, finish, and function, they use top-grade metals for their magnets and plates. I proved this by using THEIR plates vs. another company's mount and plate. The iOTTIE plates contain a much higher grade of magnetics steel and, thus, hold more securely. I mount my plate at the BOTTOM of my iPhone X so as to not interfere with the Qi charging system. While this configuration is fine in the upright (portrait) position, the magnet is not strong enough to hold it horizontally since the plate is not centered. If it was centered, the magnet/plate would hold it beautifully. I love a mag-mount's simplicity and elegance...just place your phone and BAM...done. Also very easy to rotate. In this kit, they include TWO PLATES; a small square for mounting directly on a phone or case, and a larger rectangle to go inside a case. The latter is larger just so you have a larger contact area; it doesn't really give it more holding power. THE KIT & ACCESSORIES: All the products in this kit would be great, but put them in a really nice quality case, and you've got a terrific little travel kit!! iOTTIE has made a very nice, compact case that holds the mount, charger, cable, and plates. It's padded and stout, yet pretty small so you can drop it in your pack for travel, car, etc. The CHARGER is the best you can get right now...2.4a. Throw away all your .5, 1.0, and even the 2.1a chargers because this is the fastest you can get. The CABLE is cloth-braided; a nice touch...BUT...something you don't ever see is a LIGHTNING to MICRO-USB adapter attached to the end! Don't pass this off as being a hassle. Again, for travel, this is GREAT since I have all sorts of products that need micro-USB charging; ie. GOPRO, GPS, BATTERIES, etc. and having to carry only ONE cable is a real BONUS!! This is a great mount. It's minimal and elegant. If you want something lightweight and portable, THIS IS THE MOUNT YOU WANT. Because I'm an iOTTIE fan, I can tell you without any hesitation, that if you want any OTHER style, take a look at their other products; YOU WON'T BE SORRY YOU DID! FYI: They are the ONLY company that makes a sticky mount cup that works on pretty much any dash!

My phone kept falling off the magnet. So I returned it

First off, the packaging is great. Love the care that went into the details. Appreciate getting cable and car charger w/ the device. The magnetic mounting is easy to use and the kit provides two options: a magnet for inside your case or one for the outside of the case (or directly to your phone). I was surprised by how secure the phone is when connected to the mount. Easy on / easy off yet secure. Just what I wanted.
