    I used my Iphone X and works well. The magnet is strong and holds the phone in place. It doesnt however hold the phone if the plate/magnet is inside the phone case.

    My iPhone X with apple leather case didn’t hold well with the thin plate, Tried the thick plate-holds better, but hit a bump or a pot hole, and phone falls off while driving. Returning for the clamp type mount. Otherwise, this is pretty good if you have a smaller phone. Charges well, but couldn’t make it work for my situation. Bottom line, as a vehicle mount, this fails to perform as a reliable mount for larger or heavier phones, and going caseless is not an option. I do not reccomend this particular product.

    I just bought this today and planning to return and get the clip-on version of the charger. Magnet is not strong enough to hold my Galaxy S8 Plus. It requires me to add another metal plate on the outside of my case that looks weird. Much more improvements to do before I would buy this.
