This CD is by far their darkest. They all had so much going on in their lives at the time with relationships, drugs, etc that it made the vibe so dark and "why is my life such a mess," that it made it that much better.

Slipknot's classic second album includes the breakthrough hit "Left Behind" and "The Heretic Anthem" along with the superb title track "Iowa." Joey Jordison's drumming is a highlight.

2nd album from the band, and it does not disappoint. Corey Taylor back then, promised a heavier records than the debut, and delivered. Awesome album.

I wore out my original copy so I had to get another, because this is one of Slipnots best albums and a great metal disk!

Purchased for my son and he really loves this band. While this is not his favorite album, he does like several tracks on this one!

Found this in the bargain bin, couldn't pass it up

This is another CD that I got for my son. I guess it is okay as he didn't have any complaints about it. It's not my kind of music so I didn't listen to it.

Fast, crazy sounds (slipknot musicians) and great vocals from corey taylor(singer), great third album from the group. Still relevant in this day of time of music 2013 and after....

Absolutely one of their best albums, enjoyed every track and would highly recommend!

Just when you think there's no way Slipknot could match their self-titled album, they release Iowa. I was blown away. Harder, heavier, faster... it was almost too good to be true. This is arguably the pinnacle of their heaviness (and in my opinion, greatness), with music so good you just never want to stop listening. By far, this and their self-titled album are the 'cream of the crop' when it comes to metal, and there is absolutely no reason not to own both!

this band has ben around since as early as 1995 this band is amazing they really know how to write good music and play good music slipknot = the best of the best in my book they are the best of the best this whole entire album is full of awesomeness and full of lots of emotion its lone very awesome album this band rocks they seriously are the best of the best this band rocks slipknot = the best of the best

i cant say its my favorite cuz the first the cd are my favorite but its one of the most complex cds ive ever heard. self titled was insane and had a rythem that almost sounded like it was gunna fall apart but never did. iowa is more complex and very fast and hardcore. they did a great job following their debut album

Hey its SlipKnoT, do i need to say anymore? This is one of the most unique bands in metal. They have always done their own thing no matter what the critics say or think. I can put them up there with the likes of Metalica, Megadeth,Anthrax,& Slayer, even though the bands mentioned were the four fathers of thrash. SlipKnoT has made its own place in metal history.
