Ip Man 3 starring Donnie Yen had good martial arts techniques and offered a storyline background to the history and popularity of Wing Chun. It places the development of its popularity historically which helped me to understand the context of its principles and introduction as an internal style with grace and power.

When it comes to authentic kung-fu, it is always the 3 Ip Man's that come to my mind (apart from Jackie Chan's very early "Snake in the Eagles shadow" movie). The fights are so well directed, you never feel like it is planned. They are fast, fierce and if you disregard the inclusion of Mike Tyson, it is believable. Nevertheless, this is a must, if you own the other 2 movies.

The third installment of the Ip Man series is just as good as the first two. The fight scenes are incredible and Donnie Yen’s acting is spectacular. Martial arts cinema at its best.

We use this video together in our family room for family it has a lot of action at the same time it is a live story between a husband and dying wift while fighting to save a town.

One of the few Ip man movies ive seen and I like it great action with a decent story line. I suggested watching all of them but start from the beginning it makes it easier to keep up with the plot.

If your like me who loves kung fu movies and the whole martial arts universe then you will know about Master ip and donnie yen is a great actor and kung fu master

Donnie Yen is masterful in this part 3 of Master IP. One of the best martial arts film in some time.

The movie is a mixture of action, drama, and a little comedy. I would give it 5 stars but my movie came with scratches on it. I heard the dvd disk moving around prior to opening it. Once opened, I saw several small scratches on it. I have ordered from best buy several times before and this is the only issue I have had. Delivery was fast for standard shipping also.

A good 3 part for this martial arts trilogy must see it for the elevator fight

We come to the third film in the Donnie Yen Ip Man Trilogy, It has a much stronger story then the second, with multiple simultaneous plot lines, Yet offers good pacing, and some fights that rival, and even surpass some from the second AND first films! However there are some odd choices in direction, and it seems like some content is not needed, it's still overall a great film. While I'm not ready to say it's better then the first, it's still fairly close, and even though mike Tyson seems like an odd choice, they make it work, And by the end you'll understand why he was chosen. All-in-all, it's a great film that handles plot much better then many other martial arts movies, and if you liked the first or second Ip Man, you'll love this! While you can watch this movie on it's own, and it's not technically 100% dependent on the others, you should at least watch the first film before watching thi

Love the triology of ipman going off again. Truly amazing.
