if you a fan of tony ja or bruce lee you will love ip man. these movies are so emotional have a great story to tell. the japan invade china want to be dominant and force the chinese to be slaves. teach them kung fu. ip man defends his village and has so much heart and passion for his people. he has a huge heart. sticks up for his people even when his life is at jeopardy. excellent movie you will love this from start to finish promise you on this. really action packed. the whole series is amazing.

I compare this to the trilogy with Donnie Yen (sp?). I thought this one movie might have been more historically accurate, but I really liked the trilogy better. Still, if you only want to buy one movie that covers the later part of Ip Man's life, this one is good for that. Heck, I have them all!

This movie is indirectly a part of the IP MAN saga. Donnie Yen is not in this one, but his character of IP is in his later years. The storyline is not as strong as the ones in the actual trilogy, but if you are fans of the saga then you might want to see this to see how it was in the later years.

IPod man. A classic...this one wasn't as original. Went in a different direction and I do see the point but wasn't as cultivating as the first two but if its the first one you've seen in the series its a great movie.

Not as great as the first two but nice wrap up of story line with major Hong Kong Actors. Not sure I like the combination of Anthony and Anita but hey good actors can get anything done...

If you are a big Bruce Lee follower, then you need to get this as part of your collection. It's Where Bruce got his training from.

My dad is really into these movies, apparently this is the life story of the guy who trained Bruce Lee. So movies that are "based on a true story" always fascinate us.

Overall great great movie I'm a big martial arts fan big Asian movie fan and overall version of his life story...i've seen a lot of versions of the Ip man..very good movie..

This movie is a great book end to a series based on a real life Martial Arts story. The realistic scenes allow the viewer to feel as if they were present in the time setting expericing the emotions and action of the time.

To follow the life of IpMan and his struggles as a person was interesting. They should have focused on how he trained Bruce Lee at some point in the movie. Also Bruce Lee seemed like a jerk in this movie.

I have all of the other IP movies, so I had to add this one to my collection. I thought the movie was pretty good.

the asian rocky movies are all very well done and the kung fu style lives on the way stallone did the boxing in the old USA

Although I really enjoyed Ip Man 1 and 2, I was a little disappointed with 3. It was too slow. There were a few fight scenes that were fine, but nowhere near the action in the first 2 installments. It also got confusing with the time table of Ip Man's life in this movie and didn't seem to correspond with the prior installments. This movie was just ok.

Best Ip man yet! I have seen all of the Ip Man movies and they are all action packed but you could tell they put the most thought and effort into this one

It good to add it to all the other Ip Man movie this was a tv movie like the prequel

Bought for a stocking stuffer on recommendation from a friend. Fast shipping, great price, already talked another friend into buying this, also.

Good story and fight choreography. Overall, not quite as good as the Donnie Yen version though.
