    Made an appointment to get the battery in my iPhone X replaced because Best Buy is an authorized Apple service center. Went in and was told not once but 4 times “there is a local guy who can do it a lot cheaper”. Left without a new battery because they were having trouble connecting with Apple. If you don’t want to replace batteries on phones out of warranty don’t accept appointments. Guess I’ll go to the Apple store.

    Geek Squad will not replace an Apple battery for the price listed. Call the store and get the real price before proceeding.

    Shotty service and overpriced items

    Have been to 3 different appointments to have iPhone battery replaced and have drive over 100 miles each time. Each time I was told something different from your so called geek squad. It doesn’t seem like any one of your so called geeks even have the first idea as to what is going on in your store or much less how to perform their jobs. You guys are lame

    Don't waste your time. I did. I was told my 4 year old phone was too old to replace the battery. After it was there for 3 hours. I thought the point of battery replacement was for an old phone?

    Scheduled an appointment to get my battery replaced by Geek Squad. According to website, battery is free of charge if you have Apple care (which I did!) Guy literally saw in his system, saw on my phone and said it will be $50. Ummmm, website says free of charge (not free if costing me $50!) Waste of time to have them do it.

    Made an appointment to replace battery in my iphone 11. Then they call me and tell me they only replace batterries on 12 s and above. But to call another Best Buy because they could do it. Huh!

    When came for appointment they stated iphone 11 pro battery is not availabe! Complete lack of respect for customer’s time!

    I made appt for battery replacement on iphone 8 plus was quoted $49 plus tx. At pickup they charged $69 plus tx. Why? Not happy.
