It's a refurbished item but what we received looked practically new. the back was re-polished with no scratches and the screen was the same. So far it works great and I am very satisfied. Almost like a new one but $50 cheaper.

Great overall product. lots of apps. battery life is short but o well. looks pretty nice the screen and resolution. lots of free books

first my charger woulnt fit so it broke when i tried to force it in, second it wouldnt leet me set up an apple acct. and third the backing cover didnt even have an apple cover it was plain silver, i would never buy a refurbish product again.

Unfortunately I bought this produc as a christmas gift for my daughter and my experince was horrible. First the product was left on my door step. Secondly it did not come with a charger. Then the product was defective due to the fact that it would freeze up on her and not allow her to use it properly. Now I had to send it back and although the shipping is paid for, I had to pay an extra charge to package and then I was informed that it would be atleast 30 days before my money would be credited to my account. So i am very disappointed and would not but another refurbished item again.

bought this for my 8 year old.. When we tried to set it up, the iPod was still set from the previous owner who didn't even live in the country... iPod won't download anything.. Just awful should have bought a new one!
