This works very well and picks up all the dirt and dog hair. It has picked up dog hair in places I miss with a regular vacuum. I have several dogs that are Australian Shepard and Border Collies who shed a lot, they are mostly inside dogs and this vacuum picks up everything. It has helped keep the rugs and laminate floor clean in between normal vacuuming. Before getting the Roomba, I was vacuuming every day and still getting a lot of dog hair. With using the Roomba I don’t have to spend time vacuuming every day. Highly recommend if you have inside dogs who shed alot.

I've been using the iRobot Roomba 5 for a while now, and it has honestly made my life so much easier. I love how efficiently it navigates around furniture and reaches corners I usually miss when cleaning manually. The suction power is impressive for its size, and it does a great job picking up dust, pet hair, and crumbs from both hardwood floors and carpets.

I like it, but you do have to accommodate its idiosyncrasies. I’m in a one bed room apartment, so there’s not much space it has to deal with. First time I ran it, I monitored how it did, and made note of where it had problems. I was particularly impressed with how it manages getting under, and than out of, certain pieces of furniture (chairs, couches, dresser, etc.). That said, for efficiency’s sake you do want to move some stuff before hand. For me, that amounts to folding and putting away a couple of trays, moving one chair out of the kitchen and onto the bed, and moving a couple of other items. First time I let it run solo it got hung up on the small bathroom carpet. Fine, so I make sure that’s out of the way. Second time it finished, but then ran out of battery before it could make its way back to the charging base. Appeared to get “lost” in the bedroom and wasn’t able to get back to the living room where it could sense the base. Perhaps the third time will be the charm. I may have to move its base station. But really, otherwise I actually am pretty happy with it so far.

For an entry level robotic vacuum this thing is amazing! The amount of stuff it finds is incredible although it does require a little maintenance. The first few days you may have to help it by getting the amount of long hair it finds off the roller (easy to do) but after that it should be able to maintain the house nicely. Only thing I wish is that the bin was a little larger so I wouldn’t have to empty as frequently but at least I know it’s working!

Works very well, much easier to use then a regular Vacumn. You plug this sucker in and it does all the work

The cleaner works now for more than a year without any issues. I did not need anything fancy, just make the room cleaner. It has problems with finding the charging station, sometimes just dies trying to find it. Another thing it will not replace vacum cleaner, it is just helper to keep area clean.

Saves so much time from traditional vacuuming. Picks up really well and easy to set up. Use app to start vacuum while out. It’s noisy so best time to run it is when running errands or working.

Got this to replace my last roomba that was 10+ years old and falling apart. Works much better and does a really great job and I like this very simple model I don't need all the bells and whistles. Deducting a star because when it gets stuck somewhere it keeps yelling at me to do something about it every so often and there's no way to turn that feature off which my older model did not. Still a great vacuum especially with the black Friday sale.

I was skeptical at first because this one was on the low end pricewise BUT, it is literally perfect for everything I need. Picking up after the pet is a breeze because most of it is done by the robot. I sweep only occasionally now. And I love that I can program it to do its job when I’m not home. Actually has really good suction power as well.

Very convenient. Cleans my 600 sqft apartment very well on a 3 times a week schedule. Loud and the constant bumping intos can be annoying. Have to remove wires and obstruct frequently stuck areas before every run. Gets stuck 1-2 times per run. Still, good value for money.

Cannot seem to schedule robot for 15 minute cleaning intervals. Robot cleans until battery dies without going to base to recharge. Will continue to try to fix this because I really like this unit reasonably priced and cleans excellent. If I can finally program it to my setting, I'll give it 5 stars.

If you're someone who is constantly on the go, I highly recommend this purchase! It is easy to setup and use by dowloading the appt to any of your smart devices. You can set up timed cleaning sessions and even schedule them ahead of time, you can also rate each job. While its not perfect (it sometimes leaves small particles behind) it is still a great help in the home!

I was skeptical that a battery powered vacuum could get results similar to a regular corded vac. I was right. It picks up surface stuff fairly well but is no substitute for a real vacuum. Having said that, we do find it very useful for cleaning up pet hair. We leave it to run in a room when we are gone and the receptacle has a good amount of dist and hair in it. It keeps the carpet a little cleaner between vacuuming. The sweeping pattern is totally random and it tends to stay in one spot for a long time before moving on. When it encounters an obstacle it does an almost full turn and collides with the same object. If you leave it in one small room. block off the areas under dressers and such that it tends to get lodged under, it's handy enough. Our side sweeper brush motor burned out after four months and I read that it should be taken out and cleaned regularly. This is not mentioned in the instructions. For this much money you can buy a mid-range upright which I would recommend

Cleans very well. I have cats and fur on the hardwood floor seemed to always be present before I bought this vacuum. Clean up fur and litter very great and my lviign areas almost feel as if i dont own any pets! The vacuum is somewhat loud but nowhere near as loud as a traditional vacuum is. Definitely worth the price when it is on sale

I love this vacuum. It cleans surprisingly well. I can use my fancy push vacuum and go over the carpet. If I follow up with the Roomba, it still feels up, so this thing cleans very well. I do sort of dislike the randomness of how it cleans. For example, if I release this in a room I want it to clean, if I don’t seal off the area or close a door, the Roomba will usually just make its way into a different area and die before it cleans what I want it too. It also gets stuck on stuff and under stuff while easily going over many things I didn’t think it would be able to. So in that sense, it is sort of unpredictable. Getting past that, it is great at what it does, particularly in small spaces.

I bought this as a test, I've got 3 kids and a dog so the floors tend to have stuff dotted all over the place. We also have rugs and some small elevation changes to different rooms. I really didn't think these robots would be able to cope and would just continue to get stuck, hence I went for the "cheap" version to see how it might hold up. I'm impressed, it handles the elevation changes really well, sometimes it has to take a couple of runups before it finds the right angle, but it does get there. It doesn't seem to get stuck on shoelaces or toys on the floor it just goes about its business. we have a labradoodle with long hair that just gets everywhere, but again this copes with it really well and gets the floors surprisingly clean. All in all, a great entry level model, would definitely buy it again!

It’s more than what you can ask for, for the price. I mean, you’re getting an automated vacuum cleaner for the price of a manual vacuum cleaner. I just bought this one a month ago and it does wonders. I run it once every 2 days in my 1000 sqft apartment and my carpet, and other wooden flooring areas are clean and tidy. I don’t have any pets so I think that’s sufficient. The roomba app gives you suggestions on when to replace the filter, side brush and the bristle and beater brushes which are reasonably cheap. I’m gonna but the high end roomba sometime in the future for sure. Be sure to not have cables lying around (per the instructions). P.S: Go for the higher end models if you can afford it. I’m for sure getting the higher end one in the future.

I am giving a 4 as I do not personally use this it was a gift for my son as he bought a new home December of 2021. So far he has told me he loves it and the only complaint I have heard is that it will get stuck in the bathroom and can't find its way out but other than that he seems to really like this Roomba.

Easy to use, simple vac. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of the high end versions but cleans well and can be controlled from the iRobot app. Replacement parts are also affordable.

I purchased this Roomba more than three years ago! it still does the work and honestly, it's fantastic, even if it does not map the rooms. Really recommended!
