one of the best investments you will make in your life. This not only picks up pet hair, but cleans very well in hard to reach places and under my bed. I can't say enough good things about this product. I have purchased 3 additional for family members. The only down is that it could be a bit noisy, but if you don't mind, it's great!!

I absolutely love this little machine! We have several cats in our house and the Roomba does a great job getting the cat hair from the carpet and hardwoods along with getting the trail of kitty litter left behind! If you have house with obstacles the Roomba should be monitored as I have found my robot getting stuck in odd places and dying before the end of the clean cycle. It seems very persistent on getting behind doors and getting trapped in a room. Regardless of this, I still think it does a great job when I need an extra hand cleaning the floors.

We love the iRobot- Rommba! We have a living room with very light carpet that gets a lot of traffic. This vacuum is excellent for daily cleaning which picks up tracked in dirt and debris before it gets into the carpet and becomes a stain. Excellent with pet hair as well.

My little Rosie is a wiz! She comes on, on schedule and tidies up my living area and kitchen. Some days she even makes it into the laundry room and my bedroom. She covers wood, tile and carpet with ease. It's amazing the amount of pet hair she can sweep up in an hours time. I love her!

Love it! Really impressive technology and seems very well constructed. Cleans really thoroughly. The only exception - we have some large synthetic doormats - believe they are made from recycled plastic bottles or similar - and the Roomba tends to gather the dog hair into swirls on the mat but is not able to sweep it up. Some noise, but much quieter than our old vacuum cleaner. Great battery and easy automatic recharging. Haven't tried it on automatic scheduling yet. A few points to consider: The dust container is smallish and fills up relatively quickly, especially if you have a dog leaving its hair on the floor. Solution is to let it run more often and enjoy a cleaner home! It's advisable after each use to empty the dust container, tap the filters clean and check the rotating brushes for dust and hair build up. That can be a bit of a dusty process. But is is fairly quick and easy. It cleans around obstructions like furniture legs very efficiently, but If your rooms are cluttered you may need to move some pieces of furniture or cables and anything loose on the floor out of the way. So that requires a little effort. But well worth it. Also, discovered I had one cupboard that it could just squeeze under but then couldn't get itself out again. I put a small piece of card under the legs and now the clearance is ok. For bigger rooms and spaces suggest buying an additional "invisible wall" or two so that you can better define the area it should clean. The filters seem designed to prevent you really cleaning them thoroughly and will need regular replacing, so expect additional costs. They could probably have designed them to be much cheaper! Oh, and it doesn't do stairs :)

This I-robot does a nice job. It is easy to program and thoroughly cleans the house. It easily moves over most rugs and picks up those little dust bunnies under the bed. The only issue I have is that the dock is too light and can move which makes it difficult for the I-robot to dock for recharging.

This thing is awesome. It does an excellent job of picking up dust and hair from tile, laminate and hardwood floors. Highly recommend it. We have a Husky/Shepard dog and he sheds hair constantly throughout the year. We were sweeping at least every other day and barely keeping up with the hair. The Roomba sweeps every day and we have not noticed any hair around the base boards or on the floor. We do have to empty the canister often...

I just moved in to a house that has hardwood and tile flooring through the entire main floor. I *hate* sweeping. I thought I would give the Roomba a try and I haven't been disappointed. You can program it to run on a schedule and still send it out on a cycle manually. I run mine every other day, charge actually lets it run for around an hour, then it finds it's way back to the charging dock. Floors pass the white sock test and all I have to do is dump the collector every other day.

Simple to use. Gets my floors nice and clean specially under the beds and other furniture. Wonderful little helper

We used to have to swiffer the hardwwod floors every day thanks to our Golden Retriever. The Roomba does that for us now. It works great on all surfaces but does occasionally get stuck under the dresser. It goes right back to work when removed. I am concerned that it may not have a long life since it cleans every day. The dirt/pet hair storage is small and needs to be cleaned daily. The roller brush is small and needs to be cleaned daily as well. Pet hair gets jammed into the front roller and has to be removed with a screwdriver to clean so the thing is a bit of maintenance but worth it so far.

This Roomba has made our lives so much easier! We have 2 cats that stay in our bedroom suite and the hair and litter was killing us. Now, we have clean floors all the time!

I have back problems and my doctor will not allow me to use a regular vacuum cleaner. This is a wonderful maintainer tool for someone like me. I have a white German Sheppard and a parrot so I have a lot of dog hair and feathers. Using the IRobot daily works fo me. Wish I had bought one sooner. No more back pain from vacuuming.

First hesitant to get it but now can't live without it. The house is cleaner and who doesn't like that? It's bigger than expected but it does the job. We have two dogs who sheds a lot so this really is a great helper.

I was skeptical of the Roomba at first. The purchase was for our first house with hardwood floors, and two dogs that shed like no other. Powered the Roomba on straight of the box and it went to work on our layout. Took it about a hour and a half the first time, but now finishes the layout within 30 minutes. Like the instructions and other reviews say, the Roomba needs some guidance, do not leave little things or shoelaces laying around because it will get stuck.

All i have to say is if you're thinking about it then think no more just buy it. I was skeptical because I have a lot of junk and thought this thing won't navigate around my apartment. Well boy I was wrong, the roomba gets around very well and picks up a lot of dirt, pet hair. I also have a cat and she sheds like crazy and roomba picks it up with no problem. You can schedule it if you like when you're not home which is great it docks on its own when it's done. Think no more and get it!

I love that it will go everwhere to do its job, but the only thing that I don't like is that, I have to watch it and guide it around sometimes. I have a big open floor plan and when it's time to dock, it takes time for it to find it since it has been far from it. It will not do my whole house in one task, again, big open floor. One day can begin heading to the left, the next day to the right. I do have to go behind it and sweeping what it didn't pick up. On carpets, it's another whole ball game. Love it!

I love this vacuum. Anything that makes housework easier is awesome in my book. It keeps my floors looking great. Gets all the animal hair up (that it can reach). It is easy to clean. If my floor is extra dirty I just stop it for a second and empty container.

Due to being a single mom of three children, a granddaughter, two dogs, homeowner (3,000 sq ft of living space), demanding career and a hectic schedule, the iRobot Roomba Vacuum Cleaning Robot 770 has become my sidekick and new best friend! The staff at Best Buy was very friendly. Although I researched this item beforehand, I did my due-diligence by double checking my purchase with one of their associates who was friendly, patient and took time listening to my challenges (perminant damage and limited use of left arm) and needs. Best purchase ever!

I use it 2 to 3 times a week on wood and tile floors. I don't use on carpet because it sounds like it's straining to hard to vacuum. Its good for picking up cat hair but I would not use for long hair dogs or cats.

Okay. I've always fancied myself a neat housekeeper. Roomba has proven I'm a slob. Every time I empty the dustbin on this little wonder, I'm positively horrified by what I find:. If you are a lazy person, you'll love the fact this little machine does your vacuuming for you and does it VERY well.
