great for picking up dog hair, but seems to having issues converting from hardwood to carpet, I keep getting an error message when it moves to carpet.

I was doubtful this model would be worth the money, but I'm convinced. We did a thorough vacuuming with our beloved Dyson before setting the Roomba loose. I couldn't believe how fast the bin filled with every run. It's is an unexpectedly effective supplement to our weekly vacuuming. With 3 dogs and hardwood floors, there's always dog fur tumbleweeds rolling around within a day after vacuuming. I haven't seen one in weeks since we started running the Roomba right before leaving for work every day. It even gets under the couches & entertainment center

I'll be honest, I had my doubts at first and made copies of my receipt :-) Although it's not perfect, the iRobot does an incredible job at unattended cleaning and also re-docks itself when complete. The only drawbacks are that it tries to climb up and over my chair frames that are about 3/8" thick and get's stuck every once in awhile. Other than that, I am very pleased thus far.

We have tried the Botvac D80 and Samsung Powerbot then got this. We were very impressed with the Roomba 860's navigation and ability to extricate itself from tight spots compared to the competitors. We then decided to try a Roomba 690 for our downstairs and ultimately had to return the 690 because the navigation and suction were not even in the same ballpark compared to the 860. As soon as I see a good deal on another 8

We really enjoy our IRobot. It works great on hardwoods and over the whole house. We would definitely get another one, when this one stops working.

Works well we have pets that shed and it helps with the pet hair It does get stuck in a couple of areas sometimes but over all it's a great purchase

I would not believe it until I got one and am amazed at the job it does. gets in every nook and cranny and still finds its way back to the base.

This might work better in a smaller, confined area. For it to cover roughly 1400sf, it pretty much has to run constantly in between charges.

The Roomba vacuum is awesome. The only complaint my family member has is that it bumps into all of her furniture, (which was to be expected).

Was skeptical at first As other vacuums with the same concept don't work very well.this one does an amazing job though and I'm very impressed

It does an amazing job going from hardwood to carpet and cleaning in spots like under the bed where it's difficult with a regular vacuum.

My wife and I work long hours throughout the week and just don't vacuum as much as needed. The Roomba has proved itself a good means to supplement cleaning. Don't expect it to clean the entire floor or room it's in everyday. It hits different areas each day it seems, but as a daily runner it works in the long run. There seems to be no algorithm for its method of cleaning as it appears to just "drunkenly" moves around. I recommend it, but don't expect to not have to vacuum...you will still need to vacuum areas it can't reach.

works brilliantly on hardwood floors...so well in fact I bought a second one to keep on a different floor. Not so great for carpet though

Very happy thus far. Only issue is it can get stuck in a room and not make it back to its base unit but that's a minor inconvenience

Ir works great l have two dogs inside the house and every day my house looks clean hair free, i would recommend this to everyone l know

We love the Roomba. Years ago I had a Neato...loved the power, but it broke because of cheap plastic. Decided to get the Roomba to help manage the dirt, cat liter, and cat fur in our small place. For almost everything, it is wonderful and we can tell a difference. We were surprised by how much dirt it found hidden away. However, it struggles with our cat's long hair when it sticks to the persian rugs...which it always does. Sorta wish we got a vacuum with bristles instead but preferred the power of this one. Over all, I would buy it again.

mopping and sweeping is a breeze with my roomba. Would like to gift it to others if it was not that pricey. So just for me at this time,

I love my Roomba and would honestly not know how to live without one. I have two long haired cats and I run my Roomba everyday and it is amazing. If not for the Roomba I'd have to go around every day and vacuum because, yes, that is how much hair accumulates in a 24 hour period. It is also wonderful to be able to focus on dusting off counters and washing dishes (and etc.) while the Roomba does its job. A great time saver! I still have my Shark vacuum to get into other spaces, but the Roomba is great for daily upkeep.

Does a good job, but won't go over two of my rugs. I have dogs and it does a great job of picking up hair and dust they bring in.

I have a dog and the Roomba 660 is great at picking up dog fur!!! I run it every other day.
