I love this product it cleans the floor very I have 2 cats and a dog and works well on the pet hair

My chiropractor misses me! LOL! I use my Roomba almost every single day, and my back doesn't hurt. Our floors have not been this clean in years. I used to put off vacuuming as long as possible BEFORE getting my Roomba, because vacuuming hurt my back and I would have to go to the chiropractor to get things put back into place. Now, my Roomba keeps our floors clean, even in areas where my old vacuum couldn't get to--like under dressers, under the beds, etc. Wish I could've had a Roomba loooooonnnng ago!

The Roomba has been a God-send for me as an older person with chronic back problems that are exacerbated by conventional vacuuming. The product works well within its limitations. It does not replace a regular vacuum for some tasks and in some circumstances, such as rapid cleaning in preparation for visitors. Depending on your furniture layout, there are spots it cannot reach, and the cleaning is rather random. It is best used to maintain larger areas after they have been deep-cleaned using other means.

iRobot - Roomba 860 Self-Charging Robot Vacuum works better than prior models. It is more expensive thought but worth it.

I don't know why this model has so few reviews. I have been using it twice a week since I bought it last month. I think it works very well. You don't have to put blocks along edges, it will not fall off. Also it touches obstacles quite gently. I have a grand piano on the first floor, so I don't have to worry about iRobot smashing into it.

My husband bought this as a birthday gift and I loved it. It is easy to use and works great!! I would highly recommend it!!

My husband and I have had several models of the roomba. This one is the best yet! Previous models had the bristle rollers and can be hard to clean and less effective once some dog hair is on there. Now they are plyable but stiff rubber rollers. I feel like this roomba has more of a thorough clean and I notice more dog hair is picked up with every cycle. With two dogs and it runs 5 days a week, the canister is full everyday and our house stays clean. It just does a great job!

We've had our iRobot just over 30 days, it does a good job cleaning the main living area of our house which is what we wanted. I do have to empty at least once during the cleaning. Now I don't have to look at dust & hair on hardwood floors all the time. Have yet to program, we just run it ourselves as we're doing other tasks, so as to be around if it needs to be emptied or it gets stuck, which has only happen once. Taken it to other rooms as well & it does a great job.

We generally use it to spot clean and it works great. We can get two rooms on a charge and it makes my wife's life much easier and efficient with an infant and a toddler running around. Has the upgraded roomba suction, but none of the other more complicated features. Just press the button and it goes. No worries.

This product had enough battery life right out of the box to clean several rooms. Easy to clean and maintain.

There was a learning curve for me, not the machine. With 2 dogs, one a Goldie, and 5 cats - mostly outdoors, I'm constantly amazed at how much fur, hair and paw dirt this machine picks up every day. Yes, EVERY day. I wish I'd added the extra battery. I still need another blocker pillar. This keeps the Roomba from getting stuck under low furniture. Worth every penny!!

We purchased a month or so ago to cut down on pet hair and dust from our 2 dogs and 2 cats. We LOVE this thing! We expected a high volume of hair and dust in the container to start out, and then dwindle. We still empty the dust collector at least once each time it cleans. It keeps our hardwood floors and our area rugs looking nice, and it's able to get under our chairs and couches too! We also love the feature that allows you to schedule cleanings.

if I could I would have more of these great easy to use much better than the older models

Great little vacuum that will help you to accomplish your cleaning needs. We love our Roomba, at the beginning we were not so sure to buy this brand but after give it a try we liked a lot. I did not give it the 5 full stars just because is a little noisy, but other than that is a great home tool. My brother in love bought the neto one, he liked but he is buying a Roomba now for his 2nd story. Great Vacuum.

Does great job, as scheduled. covers 3 rooms with no problems, just wish bin was bigger.

Great at picking up pet hair and in general cleaning floors. Can wedge under some objects

often gets stuck in one pattern based upon furniture obstacles. Has problems transitioning from wood floor to carpet.

Does a great job at cleaning my vinyl floors. I've had it for about a couple of months now and haven't had any problrms. Randomly vacuums the floor./carpet and when it's done, on it's own, it docks it's self on the charger for the battery to get recharged. Worth every penny.

We've had a Roomba 880 since May of 2015 and just purchased this 860. Even though the 860 is newer than our 880 by 2.5 years, our old 880 seems to have more "intelligence" than our new 860. I say this because our 860 seems to get "stuck" in areas/spaces of our house that don't seem phase our 880. By "stuck", I'm talking about an area of the house where it might be a narrow (left-to-right) opening (like under a chair against a wall, with a table on both sides of the chair which means that Roomba can only go into this space via in front of the chair and get back out the same way since both sides and back of the chair are blocked), only at 1 end of a space where the 880 goes in and vacuums everything and then gets itself back out within 1 or 2 tries, but the 860 will go in and keep vacuuming in that same location for 30 minutes or until it gives the "all done" chimes...all the while still trying to find its way out of that space via the narrow opening, but never does get itself out of that space. The 860 has a smaller capacity battery than the 880 does (which we knew before we purchased it) so for the 860 to get stuck in places where the 880 doesn't, the 860 can sometimes run out of power when it can't get itself out of various spaces. This is the ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Other than that, we love this 860!

The Roomba is a must have for our new hardwood floors, we never knew how dirty our floors were until we got our Roomba. The ease of use by being able to set a schedule for the Roomba to work when you want it to on a daily basis! Would highly recommend especially if you have pets. Remember to empty the container on a daily basis and you too will be amazed at how dirty your floors really are!!
