It fulfilled all of my expectations and more. Since my carpet gets vacuumed everyday I don't have to dust any more either! I love it!

I live in a big apartment and don't have the time or energy to swipe all the time so the roomba is perfect. Picks up so much dirt!!

So far I just love it. I let it do its thing everyday. It does just want I wanted. I can believe what it picks up. Very good product

Getting past my excitement of having a robot cleaner in the house, this little guy keeps the hair from my two large dogs under control. We have light tile and their black hair can become a real pain but everyday the roomba tackles the worst of it and keeps the house clean. I would recommend it especially to get under the couches and furniture.

I love my roomba, does the work for me, specially when I am busy or tired and I do not have the energy to clean up the house.

Gave it four stars as I'm still learning the full capabilities but so far the 870 does a very nice job cleaning our hardwood floors after 2 months of use.

I liked this so much I bought another one! It does a very thorough job.

This little vacuum is so handy. Set it up to run and forget it. Only wish it cleaned stairs :) it even fits under dressers and beds. Love it.

Love my roomba! U can set up what time of day you want it to clean and it does a very throughly job!

After moving in to a new home, we wanted to make sure the dog hair did not linger on the hard wood flooring so we researched Roombas. The salesman at our local Best Buy showed us the difference between three models he had in stock and we went with the 870. It has worked great in our new home!

I was a bit skeptical that it would clean an entire room and one with a lot of long human hair. I thought for sure it would get caught up or just not work well, but just the opposite. When I opened the dirt hopper to empty it the first time I was shocked at how well it picked up dirt I didn't even see as well as all the long hair without a problem.

Just like the Rosey the Robot on The Jetsons, works and works and only need to be emptied and charged.

Great product. Run it twice a day and the house looks great. Going to get one for upstairs as well

Great vacuum. Doesn't always make it back to it base though. Overall pretty cool item!

Best vacuum ever, I have 2 cats and a dog, before this vacuum I had to sweep everyday to keep on top of the pet hair. Now this takes care of it for me. It really does a great job & frees me for other things.

We got this to help with pet hair. We lovingly named it Spot. Every now and then it will bump a door closed and run the battery down in one of the rooms. For the most part, we love this and it is a huge help running every other day to control the cat and dog hair.

My husband bought this Roomba for me as an Anniversary Gift and I LOVE it!! I had an older Roomba that died so I was so happy to get this newer model Roomba. It has so many neat features such as scheduling...I like hearing it come on and start vacumning the house while I am doing other things! I highly recommend this product.

I have two pets - both shed. This roomba has been great to keep down on the floating pet hair and other misc items that end up on the floor. The only reason for 4 starts not 5 is the roomba doesn't work on dark carpet at all! The roomba runs every day, as my cat loves to turn it on. Over all it picks up a lot and does well in corners. We have a circular, open floor plan so I don't use the sensors to contain it in one area but let it go where it wants. My main floor is a combo of wood, carpet and tile. It has no trouble transition from one type of flooring to another. We also have a throw rug over our wood. The roomba has no problem getting up onto the rug, but because the rug is black, it won't work. It just stops and I have to move it off the rug. I still sweep occasionally, but not as often as I used to. I also move it to other floors in my house which are all carpet. I did notice that it doesn't go as well from carpet to a throw rug, and will sometimes get stuck. I have had it for 7 months and it is great! I'm sorry I didn't get one sooner.

The IRobot is very useful and saves manual vacuuming of the floor. Love it!
