I really like this machine. By the time I get home it has parked itself and cleaned all my floors. Easy to use.

This iRobot "Roomba" is the greatest thing for our busy lifestyle. Keeps the dredge and cat hair down until we can clean. Now if only I could get the cat to ride it!

I purchased a roomba 880 and had it 1 week when the side brush stopped working so I returned it and bought a samsung powerbot. The powerbot is probably good on carpet but did not clean near as good (showing me that suction power isn't everything). I returned the powerbot and gave the roomba another try. Glad I did I have had this one for over a month with no problems and like I said it cleans so much better than the samsung.

Bought it after reading reviews. My wife wasn't sold on it when I bought it. It does a good job on carpet and hardwood floors. The Hepa filter lid won't close called Tech support and they are sending new one free. It really picks up a lot of dirt and debris. It sometimes bumps hard into furniture. They are sending me padding for the front and the back. Easy to clean, tangle free, and worth the money so far. I have used since Christmas Day a few times a week. My wife really likes it and IRoomba 880 made her a believer in a robotic vacuum.

I purchased iRobot Roomba 880 it works great it goes around the house working so hard it cleans very well I would recommend this to any one that wants to make cleaning easier just unleash the Roomba 880 and sit back and relax. We named ours Fuzz Ball

Have used it for over a month now and the results are all positive about it's features. At this point we run the iRobot daily and are constantly amazed at how much dust and cat hair we collect,

I was so hoping this robot would be doing my daily chores for me, but it never actually learns where things are in the room. Sometimes it would clean 2/3rds of the room, other times less than half. I tried different configurations of the lighthouse and room separator, but that didn't help either. I think if you have a big open room this robot may work for you, but in a small apartment where things are close together, it just can't do it's job. If it actually learned where things are in the room it might have a chance, and at this price it should be able to learn and not just use a random formula to determine where it goes.

Does a great job. We have it set to clean 3 times a week while we're at work. Only wish the receptacle held more. On occasion it needs to be emptied before it's done.

Love this item! It's like I have my personal maid living with me! I haven't been vacuuming by myself since I've got my Roomba! It does a great job! I think everybody should have it!

This is perfect for my husband! He is wheelchair bound and loves to help me around the house while I work. This makes it so much easier for him and his shoulders do not hurt any more than it did when he used the regular vacuum cleaner. And he is happy that it helps me that it is done when I get home! He loves it! And the 2 cats love it too!

The 880 model does a good job picking up most debris, but the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because it always doesn't make its way back to home base. Sometimes I will need to walk through the house and try to find the vacuum as it gets tangled up in my closest or in areas where there are electrical wires, like around my desk. Since I have 2 dogs, the debris tray must be emptied everyday or every other day. Good product for the money.

The robot has a strong power to suck dirt on the floor and is pretty intelligent to avoid objects.

Amazing Product that has changed how cleaning happens in our household. You leave it to do the job, and it does a fantastic job. I wish there were 10 stars for this product, and I would still feel those would be less!!!

This vacuum is great there is a feature you can set for it to automatically start cleaning. I have a chow who sheds a lot and this vacuum helps tremendously with keeping my rugs clean.

We tried the other Roombas and this is the best so far.

I have wanted a Roomba vacuum for years. I have been reviewing and researching for about 6 months. I got the 880 because we have two American Eskimo dogs and three long-haired cats, and I was tired of coming home every day and having to clean all of the fur that was all over the hardwood floors. Our little Roomba robot vacuums it all up, and my stress level is much lower! It communicates with you through lights and sounds. It is like having your own R2D2 unit! I LOVE IT! One thing to note, if you don't run it every day, the bin will fill up before the Roomba has completed its cleaning cycle (if you have a lot of pet fur like we do).

It's great my only complain is that the dust compartment is too small.

I wish I'd ordered this sooner. We have two cats and this does a fantastic job with the cat hair! Love the rubber brushes. My son has the previous model and is constantly having to clean the brushes. Not an issue with the 880. Does the patten make any sense? Absolutely not! Since it's cleaning daily, who cares. Does it tear up the furniture? No!

I am so satisfied with how the Roomba 880 cleans every inch of carpet. It doesn't miss anything while cleaning. Well worth the money!

We have a yellow lab that sheds constantly and dark hardwood floors. Vacuuming once a week isn't enough because by the next day the floor looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a week. We run the Roomba every other day and right before we have company and the floor always looks great. I was skeptical for a long time before buying the Roomba, but I am a believer now! If you factor in the amount of time you will save by not having to push the vacuum around, the cost isn't quite as painful. I just hope the quality is there and the Roomba lives on for many years to come.
