I'm a mother of 3, with 2 dogs, and a cat... We live in a ranch style house with mostly hardwood floors and a few throw rugs. We bought this to try to save time on cleaning the house up. We set it to run every night once the kids go to bed. Every night, it starts, and cleans the house. It sometimes gets stuck or lost, but the amount of time we have saved by allowing it to vacuum is invaluable. I used to not care how dirty the floors were, I now cringe when they're dirty during the day. Additionally, this picks up so much dirt it is crazy. You can't even see the amount of stuff it picks up on the floors, but you go to empty that bin, and realize its worth every single penny you spent on it.

new home needed daily tile, wood and carpet cleaning but to big for wife so we bought the 880 stuck the docking station under the electronics so it sorta blended in. we tried a day schedule but it runs clicky clack over tile. so we went to a 1am start time. We have three dogs 1 is a husky and does she sheddddd I get to clean the 880 which we now call tha ROBOT. It picks up so much dust bunnies and husky shedddding that it has to be emptied daily. only one draw back. if your furniture is high enough to let the front of the 880 to just barely go under but the 880 is a little higher near the middle so it gets stuck. so no complete cleaning cycle I fixed it by super gluing several rubber washers to each of the front obstacle bumpers which then makes the front of the 880 to high to go under the furniture and thus not get stuck. small fix to a big problem

This item works well and was a replacement for another Roomba. Roomba rocks!

Super easy to use. Just plug in, charge up and one button gets it off and running.

As a vacuum, it picks up everything. There are only 2 downsides to it. It keeps bumping into things a lot. I could see the furniture getting scratched after a long time. Also, neither the virtual wall or the virtual lighthouse worked. That said, the vacuum was so good that I would still get it again.

Love this vacuum. I turn it on and let it clean the floors while I do other chores. It does a great job and rarely needs redirection. It also has great battery life. It will clean for several hours before it needs recharging.

It cleans very well on my carpets, tiles, & lament floors. The best part is you can schedule the date & time so it runs automatically.

This vacuum is great. I like that you can schedule it and forget it.

My parents love the roomba 880 vacuum. It really helps them alot

This was a great upgrade from our old 440 model. I love that is cleans every day on its schedule. We have a golden retriever and I used to have to sweep or vacuum every day. Now I no longer have to do so. Would buy again!

I bought this for my wife who received a recommendation from a family friend. I read several reviews and was a little skeptical about all of the positive reviews. We have had this Roomba for about two weeks now and this has been the best addition to our family since my kids were born. We have a small dog and we are always having to clean up her hair that sheds on our rugs and hardwood. No problem for this small cleaner. We have her on a schedule so she wakes up and cleans the floor for one hour after we leave for work. We come back and and the floors are clean , no dog hair, no crumbs - like having a live in made. We bought this on a deal of the day but I would have paid extra for this wonderful device!

We have been very pleased with how quiet it has been but especially with how well it cleans.we still have to catch the corners from time to time.Over all very happy with our room a vac.

The iRobot is very easy to program and cleans very well on both hardwood floors and carpet. I am so glad I decided to buy this iRobot and I saw it was on sale, so I did not hesitate to purchase it.

Setup was a couple of minutes and cleans really good. At 1st I didn't think it was working during the day. Then I saw the trash light on and proceeded to empty out the Roomba. I was shocked that it had picked up so much in 2 weeks. Floors look and feel cleaner. I seem to have to empty the Roomba every 3 weeks or so as it works 4 days a week while we are gone. The only problem I had was it got stuck on a thick poofy bathroom area rug. But I pick up the rug on the days I know the Roomba is going to work and I have had no more issues. I am completely happy with my purchase. The Roomba also gets under items that I couldn't get under when I was cleaning. Has helped my allergies.

Since setting the Roomba 880 to run once a day we have not had to vacuum our house! We have a dog and 2 cats, so we used to have to vacuum the whole house at least once a week. Not anymore!

Exceeds my expectations. This is a great daily tool, docks itself, picks up my pets hair. Nothing like the original rumba I purchased the first year they came out.

The main consideration when choosing the right model- Is the area you expect it to cover. The 880 does multiple rooms, but we have to move the unit to two different stations to complete our entire downstairs. Watch what you leave laying out- it will gobble, but in most cases stop until you clear it out. You can't just program and forget about it- you must empty out the compartment with each use- or at least every other. Amazed by how well the little brush manages to keep corners clean. Under beds- between dining room chairs- pretty amazing! I call it my wife's "little buddy"- she call's it a "Hard Worker".

Overly impressed with this product. Cleans rooms and keeps a memory of walls. Might be pricey for some but our hardwood floors and rugs get cleaned and with multiple cats it was more than worth the $$$!
