I would give it five stars if not for the fact that it never wants to charge on its base. It seems incapable of finding its home and even when it does, it doesn’t align properly. The amount of times I’ve gone to use it only for it to have no battery makes it almost not bothering with. Did not have this issue with various Shark versions in the past.

Love my Romba. Does a great job keeping floor clean! We have two cats and two dogs and house stays clean now. Pros: -Can set schedule to vacuum from my phone -Does a good job getting corners and along walls. -Pretty rugged. Doesn’t get stuck too much. -Random pattern seems to cover all areas well. Cons: -Wish I could control areas I don’t want it to go. Where cords are or places it gets stuck (goes under my nightstand but gets stuck trying to get out). -Leaves some fuzz at transitions from carpet to bare floor. Overall very pleased. Good purchase.

Kind of loud, but it works great. It gets stuck in my furniture every now and then and gets confused on my carpet, but nothing too bad.

Easy to use very thorough cleaning would recommend

I went with iRobot for one main factor after extensive research as my budget was actually much lower: The long term availability of parts - iRobot has a reputation for having parts available for every model ever sold. And pretty much everything that could wear out - can be replaced by the owner. And very easily too. Other features I wanted - ability to schedule jobs, ability to set up virtual walls if needed (in the future). Smart home compatibility - I can even have a cleaning cycle start when I leave the house. Nice to haves but NOT in this model: room mapping with auto resume after recharging. So I bought this to help keep up with the pets' shedding and general day to day build up of stuff on the large first floor. I have it set to run and finish before I wake up in the morning everyday. I managed to put the dock right in the center of the first floor, though getting there could be a bit of a maze from some areas. In the four weeks that I have had it - it's managed to get itself trapped once, run out of battery trying to go home 4 times, required untangling of pet toys and wiry stuff once; all of which I fully expected given the square footage, layout and hazards in my house (with multiple cats/dogs). So more often than not - I wake up and my phone has a message that it has completed a cleaning. I have many transitions in the area - tile to wood, wood to carpet, 1/4 to 3/8 inch floor transitions. All handled with no problems. The one time it got trapped was when it tried to traverse a very thick power cord in my office and it managed to drive up the cord towards the wall outlet. A personal safety hazard for me too. So I just shut my office door. Problem solved. Disassembly for maintenance and clean-out is super easy. If you have to deal with a lot of pet hair - periodically inspect the opening that feeds debris into the 'tank' to make sure its clear. I made the mistake of thinking my wife emptied it when in fact it was empty because it was clogged by a build up of fur that did not go into the tank. I have no complaints. Even used it on the 2nd floor and it did not fall down the stairs. It slows nicely to avoid collisions with walls, cabinets, and other 'wider' stuff. Not so with vertical bars/balusters - full speed and bump. So the front bumper bears a few marks (not scratches as far as I can tell). I will be adding more of this model (or equivalent) when the price is right.

Bought it to replace a ECOVAC that died after a year of use. Vacuum has a foam roller that saves me from having to untangle pet hair from it. Also picks up a ton of dirt after a cleaning. Only thing that bothered me is on the roomba website it showed this model came with a tower to keep the the vacuum out of an area and after reading deeper it says some come with it

Wish I would have bought this years ago. It works great and saves me a lot of time I have some health issues and it's so much easier than vacuuming all the time. The only thing I wish it would do, is go back to the home station immediately when you tell it to. It goes for at least another five minutes maybe 10 before it goes back home. That is irritating if you're trying to leave the house or you have people coming in. Otherwise, I love it and highly recommended it!

This iRobot Roomba is really great was easy to set up and has been very efficient and trouble free since we began using it.It has managed to keep the floors nice and clean and dust free and has not got stuck yet.There were just a few areas that it could not reach and those were because of furniture being in the way.

I replaced my previous Roomba after the battery stopped working. I could not believe how quiet this new one is by comparison. I can literally run it at anytime or day/night without bothering anyone else in my Apartment building. I have had to purchase parts as the Roomba got tangled in some carpet strands and ripped one of the brushes off. Installation of parts is a breeze. Highly recommend

So far, I am loving this thing. My front yard is made out of primarily dirt (in FL, this means means it's mud most of the time) and it has been such a pain in the behind trying to keep from tracking dirt everywhere in my house. I've wanted a Roomba for quite some time but could not justify the money I'd spend on it. Well, it was on sale and I couldn't help myself any longer. While it has a few annoying quirks, such as not being able to find the base if it's not in the same room, this robot has changed my life. I used to vacuum almost every day, just with a cheap old school stand up corded vacuum, which didn't take too long (lol my house is only 550 SQFT). My roomba has allowed me to avoid touching a broom or another vacuum (aside from 1 occasion) entirely since I purchased it. If you have a less than tidy yard situation that ends up in the house or work a ton like me, I would consider this an investment and would highly recommend if you can shell out the pretty penny.

The wife is pleased with the Roomba. Paid a little more to upgrade to the e5 and it has worked really well. Easy to set up, app on phone can control it, and we ever have it set up to Amazon echo to be started. Have to remove the bin and dump trash, but that is a small price to pay compared to the $ amount of more expensive Roomba

Great vacuum product and much better than our old 650. It really does a great job vacuuming wood, tile and carpet areas. The only issue for not giving 5 stars is it sometimes doesn’t return to base which is a pain. It’s not a problem if you’re home but terrible if you are not returning for a day or week.

I was skeptical at first but it really cleans up well. The pattern of cleaning seems a little random and funny as it tries to learn it’s surroundings but let it clean the floor and forget it since it will eventually return to its docking station by itself. Cleans up pet hairs with ease, just make sure to empty out the trash it picks up after one or two cleaning sessions.

I couldn't be happier with my iRobot - Roomba e5! What I thought was just a novelty is really absolute genius. It came all ready to go to work and was super easy to connect, and the directions are simple to follow. It really works well, and I am amazed at how thorough of a job it does. I would recommend this to anyone!

I bought this model after reading lots of reviews, and I'm glad I did. It is a very hard worker, and while its random pattern may at times be frustrating as it glides just past a piece of fuzz and then strikes out in a different direction. But it keeps going and does cover the entire space. I have animals and dog and cat hair, and I love the rubber brushes. They do not clog like all the other vacuum brushes.

Love it. Long lasting and it cleans very well!!!!!

But too many areas for hair to get rolled up in.. in the vacuum rollers.. in the tires.. in the front wand sweeper extra peice.. I find myself using scissors to cut it all out at least 1 once a week But really does pic up dirt.. excellent for use of pet hair.. but i bought it cause i have long hair and so does my daughter and it falls out all over.. like a dog.. lol.. it does suck it up.. but it does get tangled in the equipment..

Very noisy, but cleans well, I have a dog that sheds a lot which was causing my allergies to flare up constantly, now I program the Roomba to circulate for about 1 hour daily and I am managing my allergies a lot better.

I love my robot vacuum. I named him Sven. At first I was concerned because he did not follow what I would call a logical pattern, but I realized that he knows what he is doing. Does a great job. He gets into places I don’t get to except for every so often. When he worked under my big heavy dresser for the first time and came out with a dusty nose I knew he was worth the price paid.
