This vacuum is great. We've owned three other ones and this one is by far the best! After a few sweeps through the house it makes a map where I can label each room. Then we can send it off to any room we want, or let it do the whole house. When the battery runs down, it recharges itself and then goes back to finish the job. And every single time it's done..... the dust bin is full!

The newest Roomba is the quietest, it can map up to 10 areas, and it can be programmed to repeat individual areas - say bedroom 3 times a week, whole house once a week...that kind of accurate control. We love all these features because we just got pets! Also works efficiently with Google. Tried Samsung, which everyone at Best Buy tells you to get, but didn't like it as much as the new Roomba. Samsung lasted longer and had a stronger motor, but when it died, it could not "remember" where to continue. It's shape isn't as efficient either, and this is most obvious in all the corners which became more filled with pushed around dust...dust is our nemesis due to dust mite allergies. That said, Roomba should not be your main vac, but it is a perfect supplement to get you from one deep cleaning (which is what our Dyson is for) to the next, especially if you have allergies, like we do. We did not get the automatic base though because we feel it should be a reusable system (the auto base requires disposable bags, which we don't want to use).

Good, but not great. You'd think these would be by far the best robot vacuums available, but the Roomba is much louder and more expensive than a much cheaper brand that we are also using. It does a good job, but really expected more from our 2nd Roomba purchase.

Mapping feature is nice. Ease of use with phone to clean specific rooms is great

After wanting a Roomba for years I finally purchased one. This is an amazing vacuum! The suction power on this vacuum is impressive. I don't know where all the dust bunnies come from that the vacuum gets, but the suction power grabs even the dirt and dust bunnies I don't see. Plus the smart map in the app makes it easy to set the vacuum to go clean a particular room. This is the best vacuum I've ever owned. I'll never go without a Roomba again.

This is our 2nd Rooma (Rosie in our house) This one is nicer because we were able to hook up Alexa and ask her to send Rosie to sweep. Also this version has a room mapping so we can sweep the one room needing swept instead of closing doors ti do that. Plus this one is better having the motor in the unit itself instead of in the dust bin making cleaning the bin easier.

Love my iRobot!! I wish I had purchased this before. I have 2 frenchies and a husky and let me say that this was a life saver! Before iRobot I used to vacuum 5 times a day because of how much hair my husky sheds and now it’s only iRobot’s job. Just tell google or if I’m away at it up on my phone to vacuum the whole house or where I needed. Beat purchase ever!

Great vacuum cleaner. So funny to watch the roomba when it first starts mapping everything out. It just meanders around, bumping into everything. After a few times, it learns the house, and all of a sudden, it looks like a genius vacuum. It seems to become more and more efficient every time it runs. Would recommend. Wait for a good sale.

We have 3 floors in our house. We liked our floor so much we bought our son one for his floor; then there was a sale and the 3rd floor got one too. We have never had our carpets vacuumed this much before. Does really well in a house with 2 with long hair and a dog that sheds long hair too! You're really going to want that docking station with the auto trash removal bin!! (we have 2)

I love this vacuum, easy to set up and does a great cleaning job.

Does its job. Sometimes multiple maps cause issues, it thinks it is doing the upper floor while it is actually doing the lower one even if we select a specific room in the lower floor. Restarting the job fixes the issue. Errors and recovery needs to be explained better on the website and the help page. I would still not take the credit away for how good of a job is does.

We had the 980 and were very pleased with how well it cleaned. It stopped working after 3 years and we replaced it with the i7. Absolutely outstanding. Half as loud and twice the pick up ability. The great thing is being able to program it to clean no matter where you are AND it has a memory ability so if you only want to clean one room, it will go to THAT room, clean and return to the charging station. We love it!

I was originally thinking of buying the new Shark IQ. It’s half the price of this robot but with more stuff. I decide to pay the extra money and invest in the Roomba i7 is always been my favorite vacuum and I simply love the design of this vacuum. I like the option of been able to vacuum and moping right after, using the same iRobot app. I also like the fact that this vacuum moves super fast and precise.

After adding a Golden Retriever puppy to my household I made the decision to purchase an iRobot - Roomba i7 7150 App-Controlled Self-Charging Robot Vacuum. I love the ability to set a recurring schedule late in the evening and when I wake up in the morning the entire first floor has been vacuumed! I often take it upstairs and have it vacuum there as well. If my house was larger I'd purchase a second one for the upstairs!!!

I was hesitant purchasing the i7 for our office. We get a lot of foot traffic that brings a decent amount of loose dirt into the office. We have carpet and tile in multiple rooms. I was expecting the i7 to vacuum like a weak cordless sweeper. After the first day of use I could see it was doing more than I hoped. We have it clean after hours each night and it is performing great. It app and notifications are useful.

This continues to amaze me. So easy to use and does such a great job.

I am using this iRobot from past 4 years but it was a different version. 4 months ago I bought iRobot - Roomba® i7 Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuum - Charcoal it’s awesome as my expectations. But to my surprise this time its vacuum suction power is further increased compared to previous. In my opinion it does way better cleaning than I could do manually. Lol. Go for it! You won’t regret

Cleans very good and picks up my dogs hair. Saves me lots of cleaning time.

The Roomba i7 lives up to expectations and does an excellent job cleaning and navigating.

The Roomba works well and my house looks good with the 3 day a week total cleaning. Have to sweep around the base as when it goes home, I take out the removable waste bin at the base. To avoid this, my daughter removes her's at the garbage as she brings the unit to the can.
