Roomba?? You mean Roomblaster! And I say that with the most upmost satisfaction. While I’m sleeping I have this little space shuttle hovering around vacuuming any alienated dust particle in sight. Easy setup with a user friendly smart app is a plus. Have a fur baby too?? This vacuum doesn’t miss a stray hair on wood floor.

After about 4 months of having this product the base stops working. I tried different outlets to make sure it really was the base that was having issues. There was no power at all going to the base and the robot could not charge or self empty because of that. I went to the iRobot website and was relieved to see that there is a year of coverage if anything fails. I called customer servive to begin the process of getting a new base. After waiting on hold, for about 15 minutes, someone picked up the phone and then hung up on me. Frustrated, I decided to try using email as another option. After sending the email I only waited a couple of hours before getting a response. The response gave troubleshooting advice on cleaning the robot. I replied and gave information, again, about what was happening. They asked me for the robot’s serial number and a picture of the base. I replied with the information and that was it. I never got another reply back. I sent another ticket and got nothing back. I sent a third one in and heard back almost a week later. Again they gave me troubleshooting information on how to clean the robot. I explained, again, what was happening and that the base is not getting any power and I am now awaiting another reply which may never come. I honestly cannot ever recommend purchasing a product from this company. The robot, when it does work, actually works well. But beware, you are rolling the dice with this company. If anything malfunctions you are at the mercy of their customer service. And it seems as though their customer service does not care about you or your issue. This seems like a never ending game I’m playing with them. Well I’m sure the game does end after that one year warranty is up.

Overall a good product. However, the newest update to the software only ONE person can control from the iRobot app. This was frustrating as I had to delete the user account several times and reinstall

The i8 was an open box purchase. The charging unit didn't charge. I charged the i8 with a different charger from an old robot vac and the i8 was fantastic. However, I took the unit back to the store for repair. Later I was told that the unit couldn't be repaired. As a result, I got my money back but NOT my 210 points. Originally, I had 430 points. I was expecting a replacement unit and NOT a loss of 210 points. I have used my remaining 220 points on a different item. DO NOT USE CREDIT POINTS ON OPEN BOX ITEMS!

Great system. Does a great job on our tile floors.

We bought this for home. It mostly works fine but you need to understand that it is a robot so it behaves unexpectedly at times. Sometimes it will loose track when it get stuck at somewhere. For a big home it may run out of power and hence go back home in between job. Also can drag stuff from one place to another. It actually tried to move our furnitures twice. So you must create blocking zones. Also you need to clean it brushes and change the dirt bags. 3 authentic dirt bags costs around 16 dollars in amazon. You can get cheaper compatible bags though. Also it leaves some dirt here and there.

It does a good job on hard floors; it seems to struggle more with carpet. My wife is very pleased with not having to vacuum the floor under the dining room table every day (due to our messy children).

iRoomba has made vacuuming a much more enjoyable experience! Obviously there are a few places that need a regular vacuum, but those are just a few. It takes the dread out of my housework!

I like it. It does have problems docking sometimes. And I’d say calls for new replacement parts way too quick. But not bad for on sale when it works.

This is a great robot vacuum. We have a main area in our house that is a shared kitchen/living room space and it really does a good job to keep the crumbs and dog hair picked up. I was a little worried it would have trouble with our lower pile rugs, but no problem at all. Unboxing and setup of the vacuum is simple and straightforward. I hooked up the base to power in the location we wanted it, and downloaded the app. Within 5 minutes everything was working and I started with a "mapping run" where it begins to draw out your room. It can also map while cleaning, but the app suggested a mapping run so I gave it a try. We have a lot of table legs and chair legs and a few carpeted areas that all were no trouble for this rooomba. It was able to navigate them with ease. I then proceeded to do a cleaning run and it did a great job cleaning up the crumbs and dog hair. Once the vacuum is done, it empties itself out on the base, but the dirt canister can be manually opened and emptied too if desired. The kit does include some extra bags for the base as well as some extra filters to change when they get dirty. I like how spare parts can be ordered via the Roomba website to keep it running like new. Overall I'm very impressed with this little guy. For a lot of higher carpet, it's not going to replace a full upright vacuum, but thats not the point of it. For keeping your living area clean and saving time, it does a great job. Bonus points, it keeps my daughter entertained watching it.

Could not resist the deal. We have an older i7 so this will be a second add. My wife has now named them to keep them strait. New one is Rosey from the Jetsons

Very loud. Difficulty mapping. Got stuck multiple times every time it vacuumed.

My husband gave it to me for Mother’s Day and I really love it. My house is always clean and I can use my time studying instead cleaning.

robot is smart, but it should be smart enough to stay away from the group of electric wires when it passes by.
