We have a laminate floor. It cleans it up well enough, which is the most important part. There are quite few things about it that bother me, though. It's quite noisy while it works. The battery doesn't last long enough - it needs to take charging breaks. It has great difficulty getting back on to the dock, such that, many times it gives up, sits outside the base, and loses its charge and connection to the wifi. Out of the box, I got a warning that, upon emptying, it has a "sealing problem". The dogs' hair often gets tangled up in the rollers and wheels. For a name brand, I expected better.

I bought this self cleaning robot vacuum I have had my ups and down with it. The product itself does a pretty decent job , but I live in a house with two cats and the robot doesn’t necessarily clean the floor as good as a hand held vacuum. The robot does make a decently loud noise also while cleaning. Overall I would recommend buying it if you don’t have as much time or,are away usually from home . The IRobot vacuum does have an app which can also be useful, but it does require wifi and the robot maybe not be able to reach your whole house .For you moneys worth You can definitely save up a little more for something more

I’m so glad I purchased this iRobot Vacuum as it has been a tremendous help around the house. With 3 kids, 2 longhair cats and a dog, this vacuum makes keeping up with sweeping a breeze! Although the base may be considered loud when emptying the bin, the robot is quiet. The app is easy to navigate and I like that it connects to Alexa. It efficiently maps out the area and navigates around obstacles with ease. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend or family member.

No complaints. I have two large short haired dogs and this Roomba effortlessly keeps my carpet clean. After 3 full cleans the device successfully mapped my 2nd floor and identified any obstacles/ troubled areas. I set the device to clean M-F when I leave the house via an app IFTTT. The device is somewhat quiet however, the emptying into the base is loud. I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone who needs a automatic vacuum.

I love this robot. It’s super easy to set up. The robot makes a map of your house. Each room you want cleaned and the ones you don’t. It takes pictures of the obstacles each cleaning session and sends them to you. The one drawback is bags. But it’s self emptying and self contained. I’d give it 10 stars if I could! It is a little loud but not any louder then an upright vacuum.

I’ve been using the iRobot Roomba for a few months now, and it has truly transformed how I keep my floors clean. The navigation is impressive, as it moves seamlessly between rooms, under furniture, and around obstacles. The cleaning power is fantastic—picking up dust, debris, and pet hair with ease. I also love how it can be controlled via the app, allowing me to schedule cleaning sessions, monitor its progress, and even control it remotely. The only downside, and it's a minor one, is the charging process. Sometimes the Roomba struggles to find its charging base if it's too far away or if there's a slight obstruction. However, this doesn't happen often, and when it does, it’s a small inconvenience compared to the overall convenience of the device. Overall, I highly recommend the iRobot Roomba for anyone looking for an effective, time-saving cleaning solution. The minor charging issue doesn’t take away from the overall experience—it’s still a game changer!

Having an older iRobot that just bumped around cleaning I got tired of putting barriers all around the house to keep it from getting snagged under a chair or table or caught up in a cable or power cord so I kind of quit using it because of the hassle. After reading the specs and reviews for the new technology in the J7 I decided to give it a try feeling comfortable that I could return it to Bbuy with no problem if it was a dud. I have to say with the mapping capability of the device and my ability to customize those maps is a game changer. After it initially mapped my house I was able to setup keep out zones within the app where I didn't want it to go and also customize jobs for when and where I wanted it to vacuum all hassle free in the app. It never gets hung up and if it spots something in question and provides a picture of the item and asks if it should avoid this in the future. This thing is amazing as it learns as it goes. I have it set on a schedule to clean different parts of the house on different days and I have never come home and found it caught up or confused. When it's finished it returns to the base and empties the dust bin, charges and sends me a text telling me it completed the tasks and any pictures it has in question. I never have to touch it. If for some reason the dust bin gets full during a job it will return to the base, empty the bin and return to where it left off. The app is fantastic and keeps you aware of everything including a history of jobs completed with a complete map of everything. If you're feeling lazy just tell Alexa to have irobot vacuum the kitchen and off she goes. This one is worth the money.

"Rex" gave me this iRobot for Christmas provided I keep him in good supply of Bones! It is easy to set-up and it I love how it Docks to Recharge & to Bag the Dirt. Its the Cat's Meow if you have any 4-legged indoor friends - really pickups the hair. I tell Alexa every morning where to run Roomba - Love This Machine

Pros: Good suction power. Pretty good battery life. Nice to not have to empty the bin. Cons: Very loud operating and even louder bin emptying. It doesn't work well in the dark. It doesn't figure out how to go to extend its route if an object's removed and it isn't set up to remap. Do NOT get this if you have a senior cat. I bought this model especially for the pet poop avoidance feature. That was a joke. I can't even count how many times I've had to mop and carpet clean streaked cat poop off the floor. Neutral: The first unit I had stopped being able to get itself back onto the charging base. It was about a month of going back and forth with customer service about the problem, with them advising me to do 7 things first - the 7 things I told them I already tried in my first contact with them. They had me send it back. The replacement unit has worked fine since (except for its craving for pet poop dispersion.)

My Roomba does it all !! Hardly any maintenance ! Cleans and picks up everything ! Very impressed !

This is my first robot vacuum and I got it for a great deal. The obstacle avoidance feature still leaves a lot to be desired. It'll either avoid the obstacle or plow right through it without a 2nd thought. I'm hoping the more I run it, the more it will learn. If not, then I'll get an ecovacs next time. It does a decent job on lvp flooring and the fact that it sounds like a jet engine taking off every time it empties the bin honestly makes me laugh.

Have used the vacuum constantly for over a year. It does a great job getting the everyday pet hair. It does a decent job mapping the house and navigating thresholds. The only con to me is how loud it is and especially how loud it is when emptying.

Excellent Vacuum couldn’t be more happy cleans right up next to the baseboards and after a couple sweeps of your house it will know exactly what to do and where to go. I have vinyl planking throughout my home so this saves me a couple hours every week and manual labor.

I’ve had the J7 plus Roomba for quite some time now and it does a phenomenal job of cleaning my multi-room house. I currently have the iRobot roomba connected to Alexa and voice commands to clean selected rooms or all the rooms are pretty simple to set up. I have a Shiba Inu pup and he sheds as well as leaves his toys everywhere; the roomba has no problem maneuvering toys and picking up the pet hair. This ai vacuum is also very quiet I usually have it running either late at night i.e. 2am or when I leave the house. My roomba, Sweeply Jones, also notifies me when it ready to be emptied and have parts replaced. I think this iRobot roomba vacuum is worth my purchase.

I love it. Does very well in tight spaces. Does occasionally get stuck, but works well if you maintain it.

Previously had the Shark AI and wasn’t doing a good job with vacuuming. Decided to return it and order this bad boy. Immediately saw a difference when I opened the app, UI is friendly and gave more options than Shark. When it came to vacuuming, it picked up a lot of our dogs hair (German Shepherd & Border Collie/Husky) with ease. It gets stuck from time to time but that’s due to our chairs having a small metal frame at the bottom. Once it finishes the job, it gets pretty loud when it gets put into the “diapers”. It sounds like an aircrafts APU running. Overall: great robot vacuum for your cleaning needs.

This thing is great. Learns you house, and doesn't miss a thing. I love it. I'm in a wheel chair, it makes my life so much easier. Now I want the mopping robot. Every woman deserves one. Or it also comes in a combo I found out. It's fantastic.

Well what can I say, the machine is nice and works well. I still wonder if this is indeed the roomba as it is completely black without any markings. Also the box doesn’t have a manual or even a sticker with a QR code. There is an iRobot app that you can install on the phone and then link to the machine. From there there are videos and instructions but it all is a bit of an escape room experience. So far my wife love the fact the house gets clean without any work on her side. In the beginning it was fighting with some on ants that were hanging on the floor but that is now resolved.

Great option for cleaning in between deeper cleanings! The only issue I have run into this far is it sometimes gets stuck for a while underneath the table and chairs. It’s a little louder than I thought it would be but quieter than regular vacuums. Recommend if you have pets or live in an area with lots of dust.

Works great! Picks up dirt easily and leaves floors spotless. Lightweight, easy to use, and dries quickly!
