    Good mop, disappointing vacuum

The M6 mop works flawlessly. Really happy with it. Maps really well, mops in a pattern that is efficient. The S9 however, is a different story. I have one room with carpet and takes over 2.5 hours to vacuum on average. This is due to the recharging. Starts vacuuming before being fully charged, then has to return to be charged again. The vac does not vacuum in any pattern that makes sense. I've remapped and it didnt help. Just to vacuum downstairs it starts with a full charge and results are on average: 2.5 hours of vacuuming and 2.75 hours charging in addition. On tile floors, the vacuum runs on lower setting and can run longer, but still seems to get lost of what it is doing/where it is at.

Very good bundle deal. I got it during thanksgiving sale. Highly recommended for people who have wooden / vinyl floor. — Schedule braava jet to run after vacuum cleaning. Really useful feature. Pros - 1. new design has better cleaning 2. Noise level is reduced 3. Smart map cleans faster over time. Cons - 1. Leaves dust in some places 2. Doesn’t dock properly sometimes. Need manual effort 3. Liquid soap for braava jet is expensive. You only get a small bottle which would last 2-3 cleanings.

    Sub-par Mop but great Vacum

The vacum is top notch but if the best mop robot is the m6 then id rather do it myself. The mapping on the m6 just isnt worth it and it also has trouble docking itself. Tough time figuring out the rug and difficulty going in and out of bathrooms. I guess it would be great if u lived in a square empty room. BUT THE VACUM IS TOP NOTCH. It would be nice if the mop used the same map as the vacum and made adjustments from the already mapped vacum technology.

    Updated Bundle

I originally bought this bundle as a birthday gift. Both the vacuum and mop worked great at first. Five months later, the vaccum started making a loud noise. Lifted it up to find pueces of plastic falling of it. The plastic pieces were from part of the frame in the vacuum. We have wood floors, and the vacuum did not run over anything that would have caused damage. For the "exchange" at Best Buy, I had to return the entire bundle, even though the mop worked perfectly. The exchange process was very simple. The team worked with me, even though the vacuum typically has to be returned to the manufacturer (yay protection package). With the new bundle, the vacuum is working perfectly so far (its been five months now). The mop does not work as well as the previous, even though its the exact same model. The mop is louder and leaves tracks on the floor. It does clean the floor though. We are a busy, working family, and even though I'm not as happy with this mop as the previous mop, I still recommend both the vacuum and mop. It makes cleaning the floor so easy. Kudos to Best Buy for standing behind their protection warranty and making the exchange process simple.

    Not worth it

After using this vacuum a maximum of 10 times, it started showing errors due to the main vacuum component. After contacting support, they sent a replacement part for me to fix it myself by watching a video (ridiculous, as I bought a robot to save time, not to waste time doing mechanical repairs). Once repaired, it worked for another five uses before a new error occurred, this time related to the battery. To give you an idea of how little this item has been used, the brushes are still new without a single scratch. Frustrated with the situation, I went to Best Buy, as I have a 2-year warranty. At the limit of my patience with a product that has only given me problems, I decided to stop using it. Best Buy had to charge me a fee to try to repair the vacuum. This is definitely a problematic product that isn’t worth the price. On the other hand, the robot mop works without issues and does a good job. Apart from the water tank being small, I’d say it’s a good product for a small apartment

Bought this due to new job where I won't be home as much, and also a cat who loves to kick litter everywhere. The vacuum is amazing - ran the first run with vacuum so then the second mapping-only run wouldn't push litter and hairballs all over - I was SHOCKED with how much the roomba picked up even after I had just vacuumed. Picked up all litter, cat hair, my hair, everything. Great navigation. Took a little longer for the initial runs, but afterwards I've been able to run it smoothly and quickly. The braava, on the other hand, I am a bit less impressed with. It definitely mops, but it needed a lot more help with navigation than the roomba did. I'm still having issues getting it to go over some thresholds (it is parallel to the path the braava mops in so I am stymied re: how to teach it to discover that new area). It also didn't map as nicely as the roomba did, with some areas missed and some weird other areas added. I wish the roomba and the braava could share a map, but alas the braava must learn a map on its own. I like the aesthetic of them matching, so if cost is not an issue, by all means get the matching set.

Great quality and function, but expensive. I think a separate robo vac and mop is better than a combo unit. Be aware that when the Roomba empties into the base station, it is rather loud, but vacuums quite well. The Bravajet can struggle with higher thresholds, but does a decent (not great) job wet cleaning.

Really impressed at how well it works. Runs around tables, chairs, and other objects. Cleans well and keeps our shedding Sheltie hair from getting all over. Just push the clean now button and let it do its thing. The mop unit is a bit disappointing though. It cleans OK on the main floor but doesn't go over the floor transition from wood floor to tile floor, so that requires us to manually place the unit there. It also doesn't seem to like to go down the hallway so need to keep an eye on that to make sure it goes there. Have tried to remap the home to see if that helps, so we will see. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the vacuum unit and depending on your floor layout, the mop unit is good as well

I recently purchased a Roomba and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. This little device has made a significant difference in maintaining the cleanliness of my home. It navigates around furniture with ease and transitions from hardwood floors to carpets without any issues. The scheduling feature is a game-changer, allowing me to come home to freshly vacuumed floors every day. Its compact design helps it to reach under most furniture, ensuring that no dust bunnies are left behind. I also appreciate how it docks itself after cleaning. Although it can be a bit noisy, the convenience it offers far outweighs this minor drawback. Highly recommended for anyone looking to take the hassle out of vacuuming.

Roomba Seems To Be Losing Their Edge

After having an older generation Roomba, I was excited to buy this new combo package to add some advanced room features and mopping to our house cleaning routine. Unfortunately, my experience was almost immediately soured by poor packaging, navigation, and customer service. Firstly, upon arriving, the s9+ made a horrible grinding noise when vacuuming around the house. After doing some research, it turns out their is a known defect where the brush housing is bent, causing the brushes and plastic framing to grind on the floor. I decided to put in a ticket for that. Meanwhile, I opened the Braava box to find that it had a defective lid. As soon as the mop bumped into something, the lid would spring open and fling the door clip across the floor. No worries, I thought. I'll open a ticket for that as well (while referencing my original ticket number) and just taped the lid shut in the meantime. Over the next several days, both the vacuum and mop really struggled to create an accurate map of our home and would often get lost- even in fully-lit rooms. In addition, they would complete jobs without ever going to rooms that were already on the map. This really added to my initial frustration as our several generations old Roomba could more easily navigate around the house without such erratic behavior. After a week, I still had not received a response to either support ticket opened with Roomba, despite them saying I should receive a response within 48 hours. Finally, after 9 days and as I was packing up the robots to return them, I received a response to my first ticket. They said they were in the process of switching customer service platforms and that led to the delay in responding. Sadly, I had enough at that point. I'm really disappointed by just how poor my experience was with this new generation of Roomba devices. I used to recommend them to everyone but now I'm more cautious about choosing them again. It seems they've gotten too comfortable at the top of the market and have been slow to adopt newer features like LIDAR for faster mapping and enhanced obstacle avoidance. In addition, these newer Roombas, while elegant-looking, don't seem to have the durability that the older devices had.

It took forever to get the mop and vacuum mapped well enough to meet expectations. After 2 false starts it finally worked out. The vacuum works almost as well as me and my dyson. The mop is ok, but don’t expect it to scrub. Be sure to swap mop pads (i use the washable) after each job. The vac is good at letting me know when to change the bag or clean rollers. I have all the rooms set up and a couple small zones. We have 6 dogs so both get used frequently, but I always do a quick inspection before starting to avoid issues.

Love it! Had it for a few weeks now. The vacuuming mapping capabilities is amazing. I have two stories and it definitely can detect stairs. Vacuums carpet and tile very well and gets allll the corners and wall crevices. The roller is kinda cheap. After a few days it already got torn by hair that it vacuumed. No big deal since it still works amazingly. I just like new things staying new for longer than a few days. I have a large home 3700+ sq ft and it’s a life saver. Must say customer service sucks. Lied to me and said they would give me a face plate for free. I wasn’t even trying to get a free one. I was trying to buy another one since it got scratched from vacuuming under the kitchen cabinet crevice which had a nail that I didn’t know about. I called to follow up since I hadn’t received it and that customer service rep said we wouldn’t say that. They can easily check call records and know that they did indeed tell us that. As for the mop. It’s not great or maybe it’s because the vacuum is ridiculously awesome. I wouldn’t buy it again. It mopped one foot into my carpet since there is no threshold. Even if I blocked that off, i have to say that it can’t clean mild stains on my tile. I have to run it multiple times.

Let’s start with the vacuum. By far, this is their best offering so far. It maps better, avoids better, climbs better, and empties flawlessly. The negatives are obviously the price, the noise on emptying (Sounds like a jet taking off), and their decision to use bags, costing you a fortune over time. As far as the mop, it’s significantly “Dumber” than the vacuum. It mops well, but it bumps hard, is slow (expected), requires a pricey solution for mopping, and gets stuck easier than roombas from 5 years ago. It will go over a room transition fine, but really won’t come back over it, locking itself in a room. The Bluetooth / WiFi controls are a nice touch. Overall, you can trust the vacuum while gone, the mop, not so much. Be there for that so you can move it when it’s stuck.

The Roomba S9 + cleans well. Has trouble finding its home base. Not sure why? So then it never completes its job. The mop does a nice job and has some of the same issues. But better than the S9! Because of the issues of finding home base I can't fully recommend. I tried changing locations and still has problems.

I do love my roomba! It does a great job keeping the pet hair under control for two dogs and a long haired cat. It did take a couple of runs to figure out which areas would cause problems like the bed skirt and cords under the bed. It also got stuck in the walk in shower. We have tile floors, area rugs and carpet. I am really amazed with just how much fur this little machine can pick up. I will say there maybe a concern - the last two runs the battery has died before it could make it back the charging station.

Quite impressive performance so far. The mapping activity took a few runs. I had to relocated base after which it completed mapping in one run. Does clean up from all corners and under furniture pretty well. Good suction plus empties out to the larger bin. Did find once that it died on its way to re-charge at base (this was like 3rd or 4th run). Mop works great a little slow but thorough cleaning, takes a few mins to dry out. One concern I have is once m6 parks back do see some accumulation on droplets from mop, will see how in few months that surface looks where mop contacts base.

I OWN (key word) EARLY versions of the Roomba, dabbled with another company for less than a year, and after that frustratSAM experience, I needed a pick-me-up. Holy balls, am I happy I switched back to iRobot. Not only to they make bulletproof equipment, but it works, and it works well. I have two shed-happy dogs in the house with hardwood/carpet combo, so wet days were always a thorn in my side, and having to empty the bin multiple times per cleaning was annoying. Not anymore! The vacuum (and mop) mapped the first floor with impressive detail and the ability to define areas was easy. Yes, the first time the units ran, it took substantially longer, but once it learns the layout, they hit the NOS! The cleaning ability of both units is the best I've experienced to date. I find myself watching the units at work with feelings of awe instead of concern. The only downside to this entire combo falls on the mop; I get it, iRobot wants you to use their cleaner because they can't guarantee compatibility/issues with others, but man does it chew through solution. To put it into perspective: Floor size - ~ 1000 sq-ft - All smooth hardwood, except a 8' x 8' carpet in the living room. The vacuum takes about an hour and a half depending on how many dumps it has to take. The mop takes about two and a half hours, using about 2/3s of the solution, and knows to avoid the rug. The app is easy, informative, and user friendly. The robots work and do a great job at the same time. With this purchase, I can say without question, my jump to any other company has SUNG its last song.

    Vacuum Good, Mop Fail

The vacuum part of this does a good job of vacuuming between real cleaning. It will leave lint etc on the edge of any rugs you may have. It will also fray rug edges after a while. The settings you choose don’t always work. For example, I have a one pass setting, but it pretty much does two and sometimes more. The mapping is tricky. My kitchen has 3 different borders with different names, annoying. I have a large kitchen with an island in the center. IMO, this would work great on smaller homes, but it keeps me from runny the vacuum every day. The mop is a complete fail for me. I got it as a combo bc it was such a great deal. It won’t map even close to what it should, it is basically a robotic swiffer jet. My big complaint is it tells you to fill the tank every time you go to use it, even when it’s full. So per instructions, I shook the tank to loosen the sensor. This worked once. I have used plain water ever since, shook the mess out of it, cleaned the little filter etc and it still isn’t working. So after much frustration, which is not worth it to me, I am going to sell it on Marketplace. Don’t need that in my life. Glad I kept my mopping system.
