I need to start by saying you will not enjoy this film if you are not willing/able to suspend belief during the show. There are a lot of goofy gags and just stupid dialogue, but hey, look past that and see the film for what it is - a cheesy, ridiculous spoof.

I think that "Iron Sky" was one of the greatest action/sci-fi films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that "Iron Sky" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense, humor and drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal/political storylines as well.

Can't say enough on how ridiculous this movie is, bought it for the sheer gitch factor and was pleased to find a fun movie that I suspect I will enjoy through the years.

Would only recommend to a Steelbook collector its a very nice looking steelbook.

The steelbook comes with the directors cut additional footage. The bonus booklet of concept art makes it worthy of any collection. Also includes DVD.

If you love "off the wall" stuff, this is for you. Bubba Ho-Tep fans will really dig it. Highly recommended.

My fiance bought this thinking he would love it! For the price it was fine but we both fell asleep half way through.

This was money thrown away. Bad acting......don't want to waste more of my time.

The summary above is the premise of Iron Sky, as descendents of the World War 2 villains who secretly colonized the Moon at the war's end are accidentally discovered by an unsuspecting lunar mission, making their way to Earth and manipulating their warped world views to make them indistinguishable from normal American values and ideals--before breaking out the big guns. It's scary how easy the villains pull this off, as residents of the Moon are insulated from the horrors of the German regime, naively believing that their leaders are peaceful. The film targets current events, such as unnamed--yet obvious--politicos, alternative energy needs, oil wars, and American hegemony in a darkly satirical--sometimes hilarious, and often less so--manner, similar to Doctor Strangelove; without giving anything away, this doesn't exactly bode well. Their is a silliness factor, to be sure, such as space zeppelins and mad scientists, and much content may not go over well with partisans, but it's a risk one takes with films attempting to entertain, and make people think. And the musical soundtrack played in the final credits--which must be watched, to see what the future holds for Earth--is worth the price, too.

I really enjoyed the movie. It's very tongue-in-check and has a great deal of fun moments. Not perfect by any stretch.... but very amusing!

This has to put in the same classification as Plan 9 from Outer Space. Just a completely terrible movie. I was hoping for a movie that might end up being a cult classic like Rocky Horror. But I ended up with a movie that will be shown to a cult. Avoid this movie at all cost!
