I highly recommend this! If you are like me and have an 06 Ford Fusion that claims to have an AUX port, but was never even added to the car (according to the Ford rep). This works great with a crisp, clear sound most of the time. I purchased this as a replacement for the Accessory Power GOgroove - FlexSMART X2 - Bluetooth hands-free / FM transmitter / charger ($50). I had had it for about 3-4 years and it almost always had a terrible sounds even after changing stations. It was very poorly made considering that when I went to take it out of the car port... it fell apart right there in my hands! -_- My only complaint about this transmitter (which I believe is an iPhone thing), is that even if you plug it in to charge, it automatically starts the music app. If you double click on the iPhone to close out the app, nothing appearsopen, but yet music is playing. (Of course, after manually opening the app, you can see the music playing and close it from there).

I drive an older vehicle that does not have an Aux or USB port. In order to stream my music from my phone or iPod I needed to find a device that could Bridge this gap. From the moment I took it out of the package it took me less than 30 seconds to skim the directions plug in the device and tune my phone so my music was playing over my speakers. I have had it for over a month now with minimal service issues (feedback from other radio stations). The only improvement I would recommend is to make the cord more durable. I plug and unplug my phone up to 20 times a day because I am a real estate agent and I am constantly in and out of my vehicle. The base of the cord where it plugs into your phone is starting to split. I like the fact that your phone charges while you are listening to music in your vehicle instead of draining your battery.

I don’t have an AV jack for my car that I can plug in my phone and be able to listen to my music so I usually stick to the radio. But, when I go on road trips, I for sure want to listen to my own music instead of the radio. This item gives me the ability to listen to my music especially on road trips. It is such an easy item to use. You just plug it in and then find the best radio station which it will tell you and then just hit play. This item also charges your phone which I thought was a nice bonus. I would hands down recommend this item if you want to play your music but do not have an AV jack to plug into like myself. I know my review sounds like an infomercial but I promise I am a real person who loves this product.

I bought the first unit a month ago. It was a great product. Radio in my truck didn't get very good radio reception so I could listen to Pandora or music on my iPhone. It worked really well. In about 8 days, when I went to unplug my iPhone, the Lightning connector stayed in my phone. When I went to return it at Best Buy customer service, The customer service clerk grilled me about how I abused the cord! Abuse! Really?! But, "Mr Best Buy" was going to be gracious and Grant me an exchange one time. Anyone want to guess what happened to the second one within a few days? I'm going to the manager when I return the next one, I'm just going to bypass "Mr. Best Buy". More disappointed with Best Buy's associate than the 70 something bucks I spent on the transmitter.

Works as advertised. You shouldn’t be expecting much in terms of pure audio quality with a device like this but it did work better than I expected. Easy to use and came with an adhesive to mount the module on a dash. I leave it in my armrest storage and, if I use a proper frequency, I get very little radio distortion even though it’s not prominently displayed. Charges my iPhone and my software has yet to advise that the accessory may not work properly (iOS 11.0.3). Five stars for functionality, three for price. Four stars.

    Lightning adapter broke off!

I use this in my car, no strain has been put on the device at all. We bought this in February of this year, so about two months ago, and the lightning adapter broke off in the phone! It was able to be removed from the phone, but it's a little pathetic that this happened at all, let alone 2 months after purchase. The lightning adapters from Apple go through tons of strain and I have never had one break. this device is shoddy and cheaply made. I have tried to contact the manufacturer but we will have to see if they will honor the 1-year warranty.

The JamKast was just OK as far as sound quality.. Can't beat it for ease of installation. Just plug it in to a 12V outlet and you're in business. I did get occasional FM interference. I ended up returning this unit and purchasing the iSimple Tranzit Link. That unit involves more effort as far as installation, but since it's modulator actually plugs into the antenna lead on the back of the radio, there is no FM interference. I use it with my iPhone (Pandora) and the sound quality is pretty awesome.

I'm really happy with this FM transmitter. Easy to use, just connect and your Iphone starts playing the last music you were listening. You don't need to use any application. The transmitter is powerful enough to be stronger than the signal coming from the radio stations in most of the places i have used. I believe you have to be really close to the radio station and with a good line of sight to get the radio station signal stronger that the one from the device.

My car doesn’t have satellite radio so I welcomed this alternative method and I’m glad I did. It not only plays my music library but my pandora music fantastically in my car and does it in such a manor that I can hardly tell it’s not the real thing. Very happy with the sound volume due to my top being down on great days! No problem with outside interference. Great purchase for me.

It was difficult to figure out how it works and only works some time. The cords are not long enough to reach my dashboard and they are very stiff. When I plug it in to my phone, it doesn't automatically start charging and I have to bend the cord to make it work. It also switches back and forth between the device and the radio. Not at all what i expected. I wished they had a BT device. There were none at the time.

I was expecting a low quality and an easy way out to listen my music in my phone, but i got a great product. It's easy to use, just connect to the phone, set your Radio Station (weakest in the area) and the out put power from the device is good enough to have a great quality where i live. It's a lot stronger than other devices i used.

I've purchased similar products, but the signal was insufficient. You would have to crank up the volume to hear anything at a decent level. That is definitely NOT the case here. Plug it in, attach my phone and it plays without any undo static or bleed over. The signal strength is excellent. The one negative I might have with it is the plug not as snug as it could be.

This FM transmitter for iPhone and other iProducts using the lightning connector is expensive at $80 in my opinion, but it has some cool features. The charging feature is nice, which you don't get with a transmitter that uses the 35mm jack, obviously, but the outlet plug does get a little bit hot. The dTECT feature that finds an open FM frequency automatically for you is really cool.

bought this for my 04 Lexus ES330 that doesn't have an AUX jack. The automatic scanning station works well in Moraga and I have no complaints. There are some areas in SF downtown that creates a bit of static, but nothing major. I think the ability to charge my iphone 5 is great. I'm sure the sound quality is better than through the headphone jack.

It does exactly what it's designed to do. Just keep in mind that the signal will never be as clean as using a cassette adapter or an auxilliary input. The clarity will depend on how strong the FM stations are around you and other landscape interruptions (i.e.: big buildings, other electronic signals, etc.). Wish it was a tad cheaper though.

This is a great product for out in the country but in the city, where every channel on the radio has a station, it's hard to find a channel that will receive the transmission from the transmitter. This is not the fault of the unit, it's just the age we live in. If you are from the country or area that has few radio stations, this is the product for you.

I gave this as a gift to my daughter who used it in her car. It worked very well putting music from her iPhone through her car radio. The vehicle was not equipped with the "plug in" type of radio. It worked really well the three days she used it. However, a icy road and a tree put and end to the radio...and car. Daughter and transmitter were fine.

Bought this item and wasn’t impressed. No matter what station it was on there was a constant fuzzy sound in the background. Also outputs more bass making it hard to hear everything. Good if you don’t have another option to listen to your phone through your radio. Probably better options out there.

Sound not very clear. Had a lot of static. Had difficult time trying to place wires so it was not just hanging all over the place. Biggest disappointment was the poor FM transmission. This purchase was for my wife's vehicle which does not have a cassette player, otherwise I would have purchased a cassette adapter instead.
