I was looking for a headrest mount for our ipad air 2 so my kids could watch movies for a car trip. The clips that attach to the headrest feel a little cheap and not well fitting but once you tighten the clamps down it holds on very firmly. The rubber on the adjustable legs that holds the tablet in place work very well and secure. I never worried that my $600 ipad would fall to the floor. I never sat in the back to watch it but from the front seat driving down the road I could see vehicle vibrations transfer to the ipad and it looked like it shook a lot. It has a leg that folds out against the seat back for stability and my kids didn't complain about it being too shaky to watch the movies so it was a great alternative to some of the more expensive options.

Does great on long trips. My 2 girls love the ability to watch the iPad while traveling.

We bought and modified this to use as an iPad mount on a tripod. It holds the iPad well in both portrait and landscape orientations. It should work well as a mount in a car as intended as well.

Holds tablet well, but difficult to adjust. Difficult positioning due to long extension of the pivoting point of the arm. Other versions that are much less expensive available elsewhere

Holds my ipad air with ease. Easy to mount and install. All functions still reachable.

Although this product is not designed for the Dash. I was able to Install in my dash through the opening in my double din stereo slot.
