I would have given this product 5 stars if it was easier to have set up the icamera to work over your phone. After setting everything up per instructions the icamera did work over the wifi but when you left the house and tried to use the icamera over the smart phone it didn't. I was able to search on the internet on how to configure my router to do port forwarding which solved the problem but I thought it would have been nice if it stated in the instructions on how to do this. I realize it would have been difficult for them to have done this because there are so many different routers out there but at least it should have mentioned in their instructions that you may have to set up port forwarding on your router to get the icmaera working. But other than that I love the system.

If you are like me and you have your phone on you at all times, this is going to work nicely. The white product is clean looking. My only issue, is that I wish the alarm was LOUDER. Also, to view the camera remotely (outside of your wifi setup), there are some changes to be made from within the app. Walkthroughs are on the website. I will be buying some additional contacts as well. Get it as a Deal of the Day and your money goes farther!

The installation was very quick. So far I got all my alerts. I only gave it 4 stars because the alarm sound could be louder. This unit is good for a smaller home. I say this because,I have a 3 story home and my router is in the basement. The cube one has to be plugged into the router. The alarm sound comes from the cube one and when I am on the third floor I could barely hear the sound from the basement.

It works well. It is a great alternative to monitored services. Easy Install. Not sure if it my internet speed or the iSmart server, but video response is very slow.

I did A lot of research before I purchased the system, it works well.. It's nice to have full control and access from your smart phone and no monthly charges at all

i am very pleased with this premium package. The whole system (2 doors/windows sensors, 1 Icamera, 1 motion sensor, 2 remote tags) is wirelessly connected to the CubeOne which is the brain of the system. I like the idea I am contacted by the alert message and email as well as automatic phone call to notify me when the alarm is triggered, detected by the motion sensor. I then have to decide if I need to call police by myself because the Ismartalarm company does not call the police for me. I prefer the package should be providing me 3 doors/windows sensors and 1 remote tag instead of 2 for each because the house need windows/doors sensors more than remote tag and the whole family members can monitor the system (arm, disarm) in the app on the phone without the remote tags. If there is no internet connection, the remote tags become useless anyway. There is a minor disappointment that I have to call customer service to do the router port forwarding in order to view the live stream video on my phone when I away from home. I got a discount of $150 from original price of $350 from Deal of the Day. Overall, I am happy with the purchase so far.

I bought this to replace an old wired system. It is definitely easy to set up and the camera is ok. Would be better with sound. It sometimes freezes when I try to access from my phone. The door sensors could be designed better... The alarm is silly but not the my reason I purchased this.

Awesome easy to install system, easy to add additional components, great app.

The wireless security system did not meet my expectations. The audible to the alarm did not sound when triggered.

Works as stated, would be nice if they offered a model that works off of cellular that way if you lose your Internet you still have communication

I have been using this alarm for a couple years now. I had a problem with it and it stopped working. I pressed the reset button, which did a factory default, then I reloaded the door and motion sensors and it has been fine ever since! I really love the fact that I can verify on my cell phone that the alarm is set. Plus, no monitoring charges means that I have saved thirty bucks a month for 2 years now! Get one, you will be happy!

Works great, however the camera needs improvement. Poor image quality and I have to reconnect it to my account 5 times a month

I've had the iSmart Alarm system for about eight months now and it's one of the best alarm systems I've used. For one, its very easy to install and only requires wifi to get going. So far I've only had minor problems that were solved within four months of getting them. The company had released new updates that allowed the problems to go away. I called the customer service and they were very responsive, this made me very happy. Although I've yet to have someone invade my home, I've been occasionally testing the system and it works without a hitch. All in all, get it if you're looking for an easy system to install.

This system is advertised as easy install and easy use. Well, it wasn't quite easy to install- all of the pieces need to communicate and it's not a fast process... but I guess it is easy in the sense that there are no knobs or settings to setup yourself. My main problem here was that I couldn't get the iCamera feed to be visible on my phone outside of my home wifi... which was kind of the entire point of having the camera, so that I could see the feed when I'm NOT at home. I spent weeks emailing back and forth with technical support, most recently being suggested updates to my icamera settings and my network / port forwarding settings. 2 hours later- still no success. And the company told me that if I'm dissatisfied I need to return the product to Best Buy (where I originally purchased it)- I find it ridiculous that they wouldn't just take the product back themselves considering how long I've been trying to get this fixed and how frustrated and dissatisfied I've been. Maybe this works great for others- but it has NOT worked for me, and I have to refrain from throwing the equipment on the ground in frustration as I take everything apart and back to the store for a return. Ridiculous.

Wow! Thanks iSmart... I actually thought about inventing something just like this a year ago but you beat me to it! It is so simple to set up and is super sleek. The look is probably what I like the most. Hate to sound shallow but I hate all the black and gray round expensive security cameras. I've only ever had minor problems (especially when I first got it) with it but customer service was super helpful and they've come a long way since it first came out.

I really like this system and feel like it is quite reliable.
