While this differs from Stephen King’s novel on several points, it’s still a well-made horror/coming of age movie. The opening sequence when Georgie meets Pennywise is brilliantly filmed. At times, the CGI gets to be a bit much, but that’s a minor quibble. Casting is excellent.

The filmmakers did an excellent job of splitting the story into the experience of the characters as kids, vs. the back and forth of the book. I look forward to the second chapter. The 4k transfer is good. It has a great soundtrack. This is one you can watch over and over again.

Good remake of Stephen King's original miniseries It. Only downside is that this is in 2 parts and would have hoped that they made one steelbook with both parts included. Nice looking steelbook with digital code included.

As a horror movie fan, I had been disappointed in the last decade or so with senseless slasher movies. I was overjoyed when I saw “It” and its sequel. I was so delighted, I decided to get the 4K version of both films.

Great movie and the actual disc arrived in great condition. Was very disappointed to see that the digital code had expired when I tried to use it. That was half the reason I bought it.

The remake of IT should be an instant classic as it brings in all of the original elements, but has updated it to today. There is a true creepiness throughout the movie and you are truly on the edge of your seat throughout.

This is a solid upgrade from the standard Blu-ray, the blacks with HDR are much truer, and the steelbook has great artwork both inside and out. If you're a crazy It fan or pennywise I this it's worth the extra for this steelbook

This movie isn’t as scary as I thought it would be, but definitely had some jump scares and overall creepy vibes. There was also some gore, but not too much in my opinion, but I do close my eyes on scary parts, so I may have missed some. Overall, I would watch again.

it just came with the blu ray disc and no digital or dvd. very poor. the movie it’s self was just alright.

I REALLY LIKED HOW THE STORY PLUNGED INTO EACH CHARACTER'S PERSONAL LIFE AND VULNERABILITY AND I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO CHAPTER 2. IT IS NOT FAIR TO COMPARE TO THE ORIGINAL MOVIE SEEING AS THIS IS A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF HORROR FILM. I ENJOYED THAT THERE WAS REALLY NO BUILD UP TO THE FRIGHT, THEY EARNESTLY JUMPED RIGHT INTO IT. YOU DEFINITELY GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH IN CONCENTRATED CHILLS AND SCARES.

This is actually my favorite movie of 2017. Stephen King's IT has always hit a sweet spot for me. This is finally the adult type adaptation that gives the same tone as the book. Being in 4k really just puts it over the top. Cannot say enough good things. BEEP BEEP RITCHIE!

I absolutely love this movie. Terrifying and gripping. I’m hooked and eagerly awaiting the next chapter. This has everything that the original miniseries lacked in terms of special effects. Check out the special features on the BluRay to see some additional cool stuff.

One of the best and instant classic to add to your 4K collection. If you truly love Stephen King’s horror lore, this is it. The best thing next to “The Shining”. Keep in mind, this is the REMAKE. It’s one of the best.

Did not like the original version of this film but I did enjoy this version. What this movie had over the old one was a really good story told. The old one had a unique clown actor that played more of a comedy role than this one. He made more comments on the kids fears more than this one. CGI really is what the old one really needed to make the vision of how horrifying the clown can be.

Read the book when it came out in 1986 and saw the TV movie when I was a kid. This remake of it blows the old movie away and is scary and Heck! This is what they need to do with Christine and remake it. I got a great deal at Best Buy on this last week for $14.99.

Tim Curry needs a new job, because this new murder clown is here, those kids from Stranger Things are as good as dead, and now you are certain your wife has a clown fetish. It’s not about you, get over it, it’s a private thing for her. Just roll with it.

This movie is a adaptation of Stephen King’s masterful novel. This adaptation is also masterful, and boasts strong performances, scares, and of course, this steelbook. I recommend you buy it if you appreciate horror.

Seeing the original made for t.v movie as a kid I was very anxious to see the remake once the first trailer was released. Not as scary I think personally but still good. Funny too, I just can't sait for the second film. Definitely worthy of the steelbook packaging!

Great movie, can't wait for part 2 to be released. I love the steelbook, glad I was able to get one. The only gripe I have is that on release day, I was at the store when they opened & the only steelbooks available were the 4K edition, so I had to buy one of those.
