I loved the original because of the humor, yet I find the remake to be better because it's more a horror film and not so much comedy.

For being remakes these are top 5!! So glad i got these 2 so cheap!!

Great Expectations, not as good as the first. Had high hopes for this and couldn't wait for it to get here. Wasn't as good as the first and kinda just drug along. Not a very good plot. Not as much action as you would expect for the length of the movie. I usually not very critical of movies and just enjoy them for the entertainment value. This one was slow throughout the movie.

Unnecesssry stuff was added to the movie, but overall the movie was great with a good plot.

Taking on the book "It" is a tremendous undertaking. But even in the course of two films, it's unclear why the kids survive or the adults ultimately triumph. The performances are almost all wooden. The writing is pretty bad. The CGI effects tower over everything else in the film. The movies are really all about Pennywise--the evil alien clown beast murderer. And yet, when it comes time to be "truly scary" the movie-makers chicken out and go for silly looking monsters and rampant computerized special effects. Are they trying to make these movies more appealing to kids? To China? Anyway, these movies are a mess. The TV miniseries from the 1990 gets the story a lot closer to correct, even if the special effects at the end are horrendous.

One of the few reboots of today that works very well

Brings a better twist to the older TV mini series and follows books a little bit more. Can't ask for a more sinister Pennywise! Thought both movies were excellent in theater and look outstanding in Dolby Vision on my LG Oled C8!! Excellent Dolby Atmos sound also, brings the atmosphere to another level!! Can't recommend enough to thriller/horror enthusiasts!!

Let me start off by saying I primarily bought this for my Wife who is a big horror fan, me not so much. That being said if you enjoyed the horror from the first IT this one doesn’t have the same feeling really. I still thoroughly enjoyed it personally but it felt more action movie like than horror movie. Ultimately glad we got it, enjoyed it thoroughly but isn’t as intense as the first one in comparison.

This horror movie is like what the 80's Horror movies like "A Nightmare on Elm Street" series. Once you start watching you can't stop watching it and when The movie is over your want more. It's the best Horror movie that has came out in the last couple of Years. The 4k Ultra HD made the colors in the movie come alive with the Audio made you forget you was at home.

It: Chapter Two is a well put together film. I was pleased with it, although I felt it could've left a few parts out & it would've been way better. I felt like the big budget for Chapter two, due to the success of part one, gave the studio a push for more effects instead of just good old-fashion suspense/terror. Great cast; how could you be mad at it? Maybe too many humorous scenes, but still a well made film. Kept me entertained, even with a semi-dull ending. Good film for the collection; definitely more replay value than the 90s version.

Bought this for my daughter who is an It fanatic and wants to be able to view these films over and over! We were initially disappointed that the disks wouldn't play on our regular Blu-ray machine but with the digital code (included) where you load the films into your Movies Anywhere account she can stream them whenever and wherever she likes.

If you are a fan of Stephen King and his decades long history of books and film adaptations from Hollywood, you will probably enjoy this film. Having seen both chapters when they were originally released to theaters, I would highly suggest watching both of the film in one setting, if at all possible.
