I was in need of a new trash can & this one does the job! You can use batteries or buy a separate charger. Filters out bad smell & easy to clean! Wish it was a little bigger or taller but still love it!

You can do better

The unit as a whole is nice-ish, but not a hundred dollars nice. I am returning it the same day I got it as there are two side to the top of the lid, where you can lift it manually with your fingers, but these sections have gaps between the lid and the flap. I purchased this product to keep fruit flies out and to keep odors in, but with these intentional gaps both of my concerns are not satisfied. Also, the can material seems so thin that I have a good feeling anyone or thing bumping into the can will leave a permanent dent.
