    Following were Chopper City in 1996. It is considered a southern classic and his most consistent lyrical album. He then released It's All on U, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in 1997. B.G. was also part of the group Hot Boys with other local rappers Lil Wayne, Juvenile, Turk, and Baby's nephew Derrick a.k.a. Bulletproof. Soon after Derrick, the fifth member of the Hot Boys, left the group to pursue a solo career. The group's debut album, Get It How U Live!, was released in 1997.[1]
