Hard and fast, Kittie is back
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This album caught me a bit off guard, I didn't realize Kittie had new music coming so soon. I have to say I was much more impressed with this than "In the Black". Although it was still good, "I've Failed You" had much more heart. Morgan's up and down vocal style from melodic to deep growl is back and it sounds great. I found track 10, "Ugly" to be the highlight of the album but the entire album is quite good. We even get some acoustic to lead us into more heavy pounding metal early in the album. Total album wise I still don't think Kittie has topped 2007's "Funeral For Yesterday" but this is absolutely a great album. Metal fans, Kittie fans, rejoice.
