J-stars showed a lot of promise with the variety of characters available to play with. The fight mechanics are great and I would recommend this to anyone with avid interest in fighters or anime.

If you're a big fan of Naruto games, this plays just like it. Best part about it? Game is packed with a lot of characters from different animes and mangas. Shonen Jump for the win.

I bought this game on impulse, as it let me play through memories of animes I watched in my youth. So far I am enjoying this unique game, but it is definitely not for everyone.

This is a great game to play for fans of the anime genre. While it has it's downfalls (linear gameplay, minimum moves and attacks per characters) the nostalgia is strong.

The game is fun playing with friends and a hand full a characters from shonen jump. single can get boring after awhile. it close to a Naruto gameplay if you like Naruto.

If your a true anime fan this game along should excited the you to the point your glasses become foggy. If you arent well there is hope. The fact that you get to play as characters from some of your favorite shows is awesome. It's like DragonBall Zealand games and Street Fighter had a baby.

A great multiplayer fighting game. The graphics are great (considering they are based on anime), and having a 3D fighting environment makes for a great game. The story mode for single player is also quite enjoyable

Thus game has all of your anime favorites and puts them against each other. 2vs2 matches become crazy and awesome. But goku is broken to no end

This is a fun and fast styled game that has a lot of popular anime characters. I enjoy it. A lot of comboas and perfect for button mashers.

if you love anime ,especially the shows represented in this game (One piece,Dragon Ball,etc) this game is a "No Brainer". In fairness I owned it as a Japanese import for PS3 first (so I'm super excited)... The graphics,sound and gameplay are great and worth it.

A must play for Shounen Jump Anime fans. Has a decently sized character roster of 39 characters to mix and match and battle against!

This Game Is a good buy. This is a great fighting game that can be used for parties and will last for a while due to the story arcs.

Purchased this game not knowing exactly what it was about but glad we did. We enjoy that 2 players can play, and different styles of fighting, and love the characters from all different animes. We enjoy this game each time we play.

This game is a fighting game for fans of Japanese Anime and Manga. If you are familiar with shows that come on during the Toonami block on the Cartoon Network then you know these characters. Shows like Naruto, One Piece, Bleach and Dragon Ball are the ones that most people know and there are few more characters from online sites like Funimation and Crunchyroll. The game is great, very different style of fighting game and something that everyone should try out for it being a very unique game that is very rarely released outside of Japan and brought over to the states. Another future game coming out in October like J Stars is Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax. It will again have a lot of Anime and Manga characters but more like a Street Fighter type style of game.

My favorite characters in many different anime/manga all together in an epic adventure where you just go around and wreck the baddies. Good solid fun, and if you know the characters, it just makes it that much better.
