Love the game

More than meets the eye

It comes off as simple but once you get then hang of it, the battles become an intense tug of war. This game has all the characters you love and some you probably don't even know. All of them have a great arsenal of moves. Each one has their own very unique play style. Great game for the casual and hardcore anime fan.

Being a fan of many of the Shonen jump anime out there ( Kenshin is actually playable in a game for once!) I bought into the hype when this title released. There is a story mode that can be played through the prospective of a handful of characters that have more popularity than others (Ichigo, Naruto, Luffy). All the story mode does however, is just create a forgetful event as an excuse to get all the characters together. The game also touts a local co-op mode. It does work, however the screen drastically shrinks and the frame-rate suffers a bit. I finished story mode in about two weeks and moved onto other things. I would not recommend it at full price, maybe wait for a sale if interested.

pretty fun game
