The game is pretty simplistic fun. I bought it somewhat on a whim, hoping to support the localization of more titles like this. As a piece of fanservice, it's adequate. It's certainly got characters from many popular franchises that I know and love. In terms of the game itself though, there are issues. Unlocking characters is an absolute grind. The game's actual depth is fairly light. The story mode is a complete joke and although it seems like it has four stories, they really end up being cheap copy-pastes of one another. Two friends and I played it the day it came out and we enjoyed it for an hour or two but were quite happy to quickly move on.

If you are not a true heart fan of the anime characters listed in this game, don't get it. Its not bad for a rpg/fighter/ 3d side-scroller but not really worth 60 buck - should be half that price if not less. I would say to grab a used copy first or borrow off a friend. The power up scenes great but that gets old after the 15th time or so. There is a least one signature attack per character but then again that gets old if you only like a handful of the 50+ characters in the game. (Not all are available at start)

Been waiting for this to come the west since it came out. There hasn't been much shonen jump games in the US the past few years because it takes more to translate them to gain a profit. However they skipped out on the translation this time around, which is for the better! The game is great for any shonen jump fan! Its a great experience, love ittttttttt

Balanced and fun, would recommend to anyone who likes the style

The game play is nice and reminiscent if you've played previous versions in the franchise. Currently however, the English version only has Subs.

This game is exactly what i want for a action anime game.

After hearing about this game, i went to pre-order it. Once i started playing it, it was hard to choose which character i wanted to play as. I like how you can choose your favorite heroes or villains and use their special moves from there own anime shows. I highly recommend this if you are into the characters that show up in the game.
