I use this cable to boot my new iMac from an external drive. It's a USB 3.1 gen 2 enclosure with a Crucial SSD inside. The iMac detects the drive as USB 3.1 gen 2 boots in 43 seconds. I will be getting a thunderbolt 3 drive soon.

I like betting able to hard wire and charge my phone with my laptop and this did the trick.

This is a high quality cable and works as expected.

I own a stand alone apple desktop and was trying to find a way to connect my laptop with the desktop and after researching for a few hours, this was the missing link to make it happen. Works flawlessly, a little short but easy to connect and get working.

I purchased this cable to charge my phone and to be an inter-connect for my USB-C headphones. It does both jobs fine though the cable jacket is a bit stiff to be an ideal cable for use with headphones.

Worked great with my mac transfering data, will try it for video transfer.

The cable length is good and feels strong and solid. For the price I would expect so.

This is easily the best cable to have with your thunderbolt/USB-C devices. First and foremost, I want to clarify that if you are looking for the highest performing Thunderbolt 3 cable, this is NOT it. If you are looking for the best Thunderbolt 3 cable look for the JTCX03, which is an ACTIVE thunderbolt 3 cable. That cable will support the full 40Gbps possible for thunderbolt 3. But, there is an excellent excuse as to why THIS CABLE doesn't support the full 40Gbps. This is a PASSIVE thunderbolt 3 cable and specifically ALL ACTIVE thunderbolt 3 cables DON'T support USB 3.1(10 Gbps). I would advise getting this cable because there is almost nothing this cable can't do. Even the thunderbolt 3 cable that Belkin sells on apple.com is not capable of 100W of power.
