I’ve been using the j5create monitor mount for a bit now, and it’s honestly been a great upgrade for my setup. It was easy to install and feels really sturdy once it’s tightened down. It holds my monitor solidly with no wobble and makes it super easy to adjust the height, tilt, and angle to get everything just right. I love how much desk space it frees up — it makes everything look cleaner and more organized. The only small issues I’ve noticed are that the cable cover can be a little tough to open, and if the monitor isn’t balanced perfectly, it can tilt on its own a bit. Other than that, it’s a really solid mount for the price and definitely worth it if you want a cleaner, more flexible setup.

Excellent monitor arms with good levels of adjustment and stability. Fairly easy to install and work with after the fact. I had a lot of difficulty getting the upper cable management channel popped out. I was finally able to but broke a clip in the process. The lower channel is easy to remove as it slides then pops out. Just use the lower cable routing channel for an easier time.

4.8 stars. This thing is sturdy! It's also heavy. It's construction is well built with metal parts (except the cable cord cover attachment). Attaching to my desk was a snap; clamp screw worked best for me. Removing the cable cover was difficult; was hard to detach. Once my cables were enclosed it makes for a very neat looking space saver. Adjustable arm makes for less neck straining.

Arm is easy to install, easy to adjust. One downside is if you're using it at an extreme there is a tilt with larger monitors (I have a 27 inch on it). But over all great

3 stars because one of the cable covers on my device was faulty and the tabs that hold it in snapped off. J5 acknowledged their fault and offered to ship a replacement but they would only send a whole new unit, not another copy of the singular defective part. They were nice enough in our engagement, but if you're worried about getting good support from j5 I don't blame you. Here's a short excerpt from our conversation: Me: Will you reimburse me for that shipping cost? This replacement process doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I only need a small plastic part- it can't weigh more than a couple of ounces. Surely the easiest resolution here is to just ship me the one part I need. I'm sure you're just following a set procedure and trying to provide good customer service, but is there someone you could escalate this request to who might be able to make an exception for me? I'm sure they would agree that having me disassemble the monitor stand, package it up, drive it to a mailing facility, and send it off (which will take me an hour of time and ~$15) in order for you all to then spend $15 send me back a nearly identical piece of equipment is ridiculous. Sending me a replacement cable cover for a fraction of the material cost and a fraction of the shipping cost is clearly a better alternative. j5 support: I was explicitly told from higher ups that we'd have to exchange the whole unit. Unfortunately, the exchange has to be for the whole unit. If shipping cost and time is an issue I may recommend trying to see if the retailer you purchased from may be able to swap out that part. Sorry for the inconvenience of this situation. Kind of a bummer. Oh well.

[Employee of bestbuy] I mounted my 32" to provide extra desk-space for my smaller side-monitors, and it works pretty well. It keeps its spot, and I don't need to adjust it... until I bump the desk a bit too hard, or the cat comes along to hide behind it and wants to stretch. I made sure to cross-reference the monitor-only weight to the supported weight of the mount, but... If it moves, I do have to spend several minutes moving it back to my desired angles and hold it until the tension can take it from there. If you have a 32" monitor, especially a gaming one, I would certainly look into more robust and heavy-duty monitor mounts. If you have simpler monitors, then this should definitely be the one for you.

Good for the price, but be sure it exceeds your weight and size recommendations by a decent amount. This holds/rated for just a touch over 17lbs and 32 inch monitor . My monitor was 16lbs and 32 inches. and just did not feel sturdy enough when the arm was extended. The monitor would “sag” and would not remain straight when the arm was 3/4 to full extended , but was fine when the arm was fully compressed in on itself. Easy to install. Decent quality for the price, especially if you have a smaller/lighter monitor, but I ended up returning due to this. For smaller, lighter monitors that is a few pounds less than specifications, I think this would work just fine… but if you’re within a few lbs, I’d look for something else.

Love the built-in cable management, makes my desktop so much neater! Holds a 27" monitor with no trouble at all.

It's a cleanly designed monitor arm with what feels like decent build quality for the price. It is not built all the way of metal or alloy, there are plastic bits all around as part of the arm assembly, as well as the part hiding the gas strut holding the upper arm in place. It's decently adjustable too for the required force to hold items in place though the system is rather vague, and lacks feedback in whether it's properly tightened or not. Even worse, while the mounting was simple, ensuring a proper hold of the monitor angle simply wasn't. My monitor of choice is grazing its maximum weight limit, and while it will hold it in place, it took an extraordinary level of force to tighten the retention bolt that I was worried that I was going to break it. With that said, thankfully it held together and has become a good alternative to the monitor stand, that experience is one I do not wish to replicate in the future with this product. And for that my rating stands as-is. I would only recommend this arm to those that have monitors a fair bit below the weight limit. You might struggle more than you need to with this arm to get it to do what you would want it to do.

While the monitor arm is designed to support a range of monitor weights, we recommend leaving some buffer below the maximum weight limit to ensure smoother adjustments and avoid over-tightening. For heavier monitors, this extra margin can help optimize performance and ease of setup.
The retention bolts and gas strut are designed to be adjustable for a variety of monitor sizes. If possible, we recommend using gradual, small adjustments to find the right tension for your monitor without risking overtightening.

Works great for monitors and display tablets. I use mine for my display tablet and it makes it super easy to move to where I want it to for drawing or move it away for extra desk space

Arm does the job, but it's not the best. The arm structure on mine leans to the side carrying the monitor as if the monitor was too heavy but mine is 15 lbs which is well within the arm's threshold. Also noticed the small screws at the base of the arms seem to be very poor quality for a $60 product. I picked it up because I was in desperate need of an arm but will likely order one from Amazon and return this one. It works. it's just kinda finicky and expensive comprared to others I've had.

For being the only monitor arm in town its a good buy. Tilting the screen feels a bit loose. Can be hard to set it at the angle you're initially going for but it will get there. I like it. If I wasn't wanting one that day and decided to have more patience i would buy one off of amazon with cable management that flows through the base plate and also has a usb on the base as well.

I use this arm for an older Asus ROG 27” monitor that is decently heavy. And this arm supports it in any orientation I want it to. Feels sturdy and doesn’t droop or lose position.

Solid piece of desktop help. Easy assembly, adjusts position easily. Good adjustable tension -- just that you have to use an allen key rather than a knob, its only weakness (I keep the key handy).

This is a great monitor stand. Its easy to build and set up, and also easy to swivel when you want to move the monitor.

This thing was a present for my son so I do not have first hand experience. He said it was a little tough to get the monitor connected as it was the max 32inch, but once connected he said it works great. Very satisfied

A really great product that was easy to assemble and mount to my desk. I really love the amount of space I’m able to have now with my monitor not having to be sitting on my desk now

Arm is very easy to setup and to control, but only problem is that my monitor is heavy for the mount

The monitor Arm is fairly stable. Monitor Arm was somewhat difficult to assemble. Price is reasonably competitive, but cheaper comparable options exist.
