I bought an HDMI to VGA adapter for a good price. Well made. Didn't work for my application.....but it was my fault. I should have bought VGA to HDMI! Duh, but this was a new type of application for me.....and now I'm knowledgeable. Keep that in mind for yourself! No problem with the product.

About a year ago, I bought a different HDMI > VGA adapter to connect my laptop to an older presentation projector, but made the mistake of getting one without a separate audio-out jack. So, the video that was the central point of my presentation played on the big screen...but without sound. Chalk it up to user-error...I didn't realize that the HDMI adapter I bought would render the audio/headphone jack on my laptop useless. Live and learn, I guess. I bought this adapter because I needed a way to connect a DVD player to a projector for a backyard "theater." Before I did, I made sure to find one that separated the audio from the HDMI output, allowing me to plug the audio into an amplifier so everyone could hear the action. If you're looking for an easy way to connect a newer video component to an older playback display, this is a great option. The only reason I gave it a 4-star review is the cost. It seems a little pricey for what it does. In the end, though I'm glad I have it.

HDMI-to-VGA Adapter works well with my Dell computer for Sunday School connecting to the old projector system.

This just what I needed to be able to connect my monitor to my new desktop that did not have a VGA connection

Works well with my laptop HDMI Connection, however it may not read the source for some older model projectors.

used to connect TV box with PC monitor, worked like a charm and sound output was good as well.

this works great for my apple computer to use as adapter don't need to spend more on higher priced one

Works as described, Needed Adapter to add add'l 19" monitor to my Laptop. Plug and Play - no problems.

I have used these before with great success. We are expanding our technology and added another adapter.

This works as it should. It allows me to use the USB port on a Chromebook and attach it to a projector.

Would like it to connect more securely. It is a bit loose and may come apart during use.

made it possible for us to have our big monitor added to the laptop so we could work with 2 monitors.

this product i was search this product for 2 months in the store .. and preferi buying in the store.

I have used it many times. Video is great through the wire. No degradation as far as I can tell.

My new Dell laptop did not have a VGA connections so I had to buy an adapter. Very happy with it

Works great and love that it didnt need a power supply like all others i have previously used.
