Saves space but slow

The only complaint I have with this is that it takes a while for the unit to power up (yes, you need to have this plugged into a USB in order for it to work), so I end up waiting to use my two monitors.

Cool display port converter

Great minus one

I'm sure there's technical reasons for this, but it's still a pain in the... On the plus side, no additional tinkering needed when using on Linux.

Well it is not like that. I have this products and only using one port the other is empty. I would not buy this if you don't want to mirror both monitors. Get the single output and save some money

Easy plug and play
