As suggested in the installation guide, I first downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website and the adapter worked immediately. It supports 1920 x 1080 resolution over a USB 2.0 port as described and the desktop appears visually identical to the one served by my laptops internal VGA card. I do find that the laptop does seem to run hotter when the adapter is in use (evidenced by the more frequent exhaust fan cycling) so I suspect your battery life may be impacted as a result. It's possible that it is also interfering with my wireless mouse (Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000) as I experience occasional movement latency when using the adapter.

This is a great product for adding additional monitors to your system, or laptop... I have a Lenovo all in one computer, so there is no adding an internal graphics adapter... This works great for business applications....I have 3 hooked to my computer and they all work great! I think its important to point out that I use these in a business application, I have NO idea of how well they will work for gaming... as far as any type of computing... well, I watch youtube video's and they work great!

I wasn't sure if this product would work with the monitor that I was trying to use but it hooked up real easy and started working right off the bat so I am very pleased with this product

This is my first attempt to hook up two monitors to one PC.You must follow the MUST READ FIRST INSTRUCTIONS and down load the new up to date drivers before plugin the adapter it will work great. The best then to do also is down load the manual for the JUA210 USB 2.0-to-VGA display adapter. It will tell you everything you need to know. I am very happy with the device.

After an initial problem with the setup which the company tech was able to quickly help me with (it involved upgrading my computer's video driver), the installation was a snap, and the adapter works absolutely beautifully. One thing I was concerned about was any lag in the display on the second monitor as I had heard that this can happen on USB-connected displays. But this issue did not arise. The second monitor's display is quick and responsive, and I am greatly enjoying having two monitors with an extended desktop. Highly recommended!

I use two of these to extend my Laptop display. They work wonderfully on my Lenovo Yoga 900. Now, I have two extra monitors and my laptop display to use. Haven't had any problems with the setup or use. I can even have one of my larger monitors as my primary display when everything's connected and it snaps back to my laptop display when I disconnect and take my laptop on the go.

I got a second monitor but my all-in-one computer did not have a VGA port. After reading others reviews I choose this item. It does a pretty good job. I watch video (YouTube) on my second monitor as well as operating multiple Office applications. It has crashed about three times in the couple of months that I have been using it. I have had to restart my computer to reboot it. Still a cheap option to add a second monitor.

My husband does training for professional organizations and often finds himself with the equipment provided by the hotel/resort. Often incompatible with his equipment. Often the proper connecting cords are missing. We decided to invest in the proper devices to get him up and running for his presentations. This item performed perfectly and saved a lot of hassle for him on the morning of his last session. Highly recommend.

This is a perfect device to make so you can have dual monitors hooked up to your computer. It was very easy to install. You will need to follow the directions! The device doesn't get installed until the end of the install and if you install it before you are supposed to you can mess everything up.

Software installation was simple... device works as described. No issues after a month+ of use. Love having a 2nd screen at home like I do at work. Now I can watch full screen TV (via slingbox) on one while I do other stuff on the other screen. And with power being provided by the USB port, extra power wires are limited to keep the desktop a bit cleaner.

I wanted to add a second monitor to my desktop computer. I went in expecting to have to purchase a second video card. The clerk suggested that since I'm going to use the second monitor for data (and not gaming), a simpler solution would be the USB VGA Display Adapter. It was simple to hook up and works wonderfully. It does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Even though there is some lag and color difference between this connection and HDMI, it was very simple to use and works well. I use it for work purposes (Excel and Word, mostly), web browsing and watch some videos on YouTube, and it works just fine. I would not recommend it for video games or video editing, but otherwise it's a great product.

Wanted 3 monitors for work and was looking for different ways to make that happen. Did some research and finally went into Best Buy and bought this adapter. Needless to say it was simple to use and now my coworkers are hooked on it too! It works for USB 2.0 and 3.0 at high resolution.

Easy to hook up and resolution is great! I am new to technology and not very suave, however, this connection was simple. I didn't have to concern myself with which monitor to be my primary. After rebooting, the system automatically configured the 2nd monitor as my secondary. Wonderful!

After reaching a tipping point between desire and necessity, we upgraded our office computers with this simple device. It was a quick and easy solution that gave our salesmen the ability to lay out the needed information with two screens. The best part was that it worked the first time, without any hassle. The only down side was that it was a bit more then I was expecting to pay. Overall this has been great tool, and worth the investment.

I needed to connect my laptop to a projector for a classroom presentation but the laptop has no VGA output connector. This device plugs into a USB port and provides a Graphics Card interface with VGA output. That by itself did the job I needed, however there is an extra added bonus that I had not expected. Instead of simply giving a duplicate image of the laptop screen, it sent the Power Point image to the projector and the image shown on the laptop is the current slide and a smaller window showing the next slide. This is a wonderful aid to making a presentation since it allows you to smoothly transition into the next slide. I did a 6-hour seminar and this device worked better than expected.

I wanted to use 2 monitors with my Dell PC. This adaptor was easy to plug in and use. It has worked great since I plugged it in. Had great help from an associate that answered all of my questions.

this product works great and was easy to set up and use. i need to add a third monitor but only had usb ports available. went to best buy and the sales assistant guided me to this and it works perfectly

This adapter does what it should - allowed me to connect a second monitor to my Lenovo all-in-one- however, it's a little pricey in my opinion. A tiny adapter like this shouldn't be so much. Many thanks to Acer for a not-so-great monitor that wouldn't connect with an HDMI cable. This adapter is still working with no problems going on two years now. Other than the price, I'm pretty satisfied with its performance.

I bought this because my ultrabook only had an HDMI out, and no VGA. The projector I had to use to teach a class only had a VGA input on it (older). This was a quick fix and performed flawlessly.
