2nd monitor connects

I connected a ASUS 21" monitor to the USB port on my MacbookPro after installing the driver, and it works fine. We have had occasions where the monitor blanks out, but simply unplugging the connection and plugging it back in solves the problem. Maybe a USB 3.0 connector would work slightly better.
