    Terrible directions and bad advice. I bought a new iMac, only to find, surprise surprise, the connector for the external monitor has changed and I need to buy a new type of connector. The Best Buy rep told me that a direct thunderbolt2 to VGA didn't exist. I had to use a VGA to USB. So for just north of $40 I bought it. Followed directions religiously, the Mac just wouldn't recognize a second monitor. So it was either return it or play with it. I ignored the directions and did a couple of things that seemed a more intuitive way of getting the Mac to recognize an external monitor and got it to work. I couldn't tell you exactly what I did though. The next day at work, I see, laying there on a colleague's desk, a Thunderbolt2 to VGA connector...

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    This Product is not what i excepted it to be. I have to plug and unplug it from the computer every time i want to use it., it doesn't work while staying plugged in to the computer. Its really a hassle. the up side is that it does work ok just the constant plugging and unplugging
