I would not recommend as the adapter is not stable and the monitors flicker. I took it back!

I'm not picky about frame rate, but this was woefully slow. It was as if the computer was barely operating.

I bought this product in the hopes of it serving me with my projector but unfortunately it did not work at all.

Got this because I had USB 2.0 available. Works great for the most part...sometimes if the computer goes to sleep, it doesn't wake up the monitor and you have to reboot. Minor issue though, and probably varies with computer type and setup.

Don't buy this. There are many more adapters on the market more user friendly than this

I bought it so I could watch my pc videos and stuff on the tv but it didn`t work at all.

Very inconsistent, and the color didn't work on the monitor.

I was not able to use this device on my laptop. I will be returning it.

My daughter's new drawing tablet/monitor she got for Christmas wouldn't work with her computer. We tried everything we saw online and she got it to work briefly by resetting her graphics driver. The monitor would stop working each time the computer went to sleep. After a handful of times doing this, even that method stopped working. She was ready to put the monitor away in the closet until she got a new computer one day. I discovered this adapter and felt fairly certain it might work. We tried it and sure enough, the monitor came right on. Worked great for us to set up the tablet as a second monitor.

I bought this to use a second monitor on my MacBook Air. I have 2 ASUS monitors that connect to a Elgad0 Thunderbolt 2 docking station. That only has 2 of the thunderbolt 2 connectors, and one is used to connect my laptop to the docking station, which left only 1 other to use the thunderbolt to via adapter for a monitor. After much research, I found out that I couldn't use the HMDI port at the same time, so I needed to use something that would connect via USB, however I was worried about the performance. Well, I got this USB to VGA adapter and I installed the drivers and once I plugged it in, my monitor immediately came up! I can't say I use this monitor for gaming or anything, but I dont see any resolution issues, lagging when dragging windows between monitors, and videos seem to playback fine on it (i.e youtube). Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product!!!

This is a good item if you don't have an hdmi port or display port but want to add more monitors. Just plug it in, run the CD, restart the PC, and boom! Extra monitor! Video quality is pretty good.

So, I have a all in one pc, i got this and it works great! It's a great thing to have.

I had been using another popular brand's external display adapters for about six months. After numerous replacements and calls to the manufacturer I finally decided to try something else. I picked up 3 of these and they work great! Right out of the box I could tell they were high quality - made of aluminum instead of cheap plastic. The installation was much easier than the previous product. I called customer support to ask about drivers and they answered on the second ring and answered my questions immediately. Highly recommend this product and other j5 create products. Hope to see more from them soon!

This adapter was simple to plug in and allow me to set up dual monitors on an older computer. Love it!

It works. It lets me attach a monitor to my laptop

This product is meant to do one thing, extend your current single VGA display system to two via a spare USB port and it does just that. First warning though is that this is ideal for office use, not for gaming or watching videos. 1) The unit itself gets very hot after heavy video usage ie gaming and videos. 2) At a certain point if the unit gets too hot the monitor connected will go black and all you will see is the mouse curser. If you are looking to game invest in a new multi monitor enabled video card, if you are looking to do just work this the most economical solution.

I bought this adapter to allow me to connect a third monitor to my Toshiba laptop utilizing the docking station. However, it would not connect. The adapter uses it's own drivers, which are supplied on the enclosed disc, and they over-ride the drivers on the Toshiba docking station which in turn turned off the other monitor. It's simply a compatibility issue with the docking station drivers. I ended up connecting this adapter to a friend's computer to give them use of a second monitor and it works perfectly.

Great little adapter. Used it on a All-in-one PC that the screen went out on, so I could use and external monitor. Worked great!

Bought a new laptop with no VGA port and didn't want to buy a new monitor. This product works great. Just remember to follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in about 10 minutes.
