when my computers VGA port developed connectivity problems this gadget helped...extends life of my laptop

Had a desktop that needed a second monitor, so instead of buying another video card, bought this, works great!

This VGA adapter works pretty well. Wouldn't recommend for HD video viewing.

Instant 2nd monitor? No way. This device has essentially hijacked my primary display. Like with nearly everyone, I've gone through my share of PC's over the years. In that time I've added hardware, installed drivers, etc. and managed to make everything work. No so with this !@#$. The only thing predictable about this device is that it's guaranteed to frustrate you beyond measure. It is random and unstable for what should be plug-in-play. Granted, one may argue that there may be issues with Windows 10 or the existing graphics adapter; fact is, I don't know and don't care. If I buy something off the shelf I expect it to work without having to hire the Geek Squad. I have an HP 19 all-in-one PC running Windows 10. I bought the PC in 2015. That's it. I would have expected this manufacturer to have run this through the ringer to mass-sell but that doesn't appear to be the case. I've spent hours installing/uninstalling the driver/adapter and nothing but a black screen. It did work briefly the day I finally got it to work but when I checked it the next morning it was gone - poof! Accordingly, even if I was somehow able to get this to work (in my lifetime) I have zero confidence that it would be able to retain its shape... In addition to uninstalling this "software" I guess I'll also do a disk cleanup, defrag and any other system utility I can find inside Windows 10 to try to get the stink of this device off of my computer. Customer support? The guy who was working with me seemed like he didn't have any more of an idea on why it wasn't working more than I did. I'm throwing in the towel on this one. What a tremendous waste of time.

The product worked for about a day then started feeling my second monitor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This DOES drive a 2nd monitor but the driver software is junk. When the screensaver kicks in, video resets on both monitors. In extended, every window on the 2nd monitor jumps back to the first and in either mirror or extended, every window flickers and the mouse resets to center of the primary monitor multiple times when you come out of screensaver, even if the 2nd monitor is disabled. Rearranging both screens EVERY TIME is so annoying it makes the device useless. Running on32-bit XP Pro, AMD AthlonX2, nVideo nForce 780a SLI video card, matching Hannspree 22" monitors, latest updates on XP and the JUA210. Using standard "Blank screen" screensaver. Did not get a fix from J5 when I contacted them.

-Crashed office after install and you can't use any office applications after that. - Font scaling didn't work on high resolution Yoga 2 pro after the driver installation - After uninstalling the driver, had trouble booting. Screen stayed black with just mouse pointer. Had to reboot few times with hard reset.
