After plugging in two external hard drives the hub blew and began to smoke... and now my USB port on my surface will not work, it consistently has "power surge" issues. I've never seen that message until after the hub blew... would not recommend for anyone

I bought it because geek squad said that it would lessen the power usage from the battery of my laptop when the hub was plugged in. The associate was wrong and thus I am disappointed. But....if you need a good quality hub this would be a good product.

I really wasn't familiar with hubs when I bought it so I was unaware how big they are & that they plug in. I was unable to return the product b/c I had been traveling and just missed the 15-day return policy cut off.

By comparison I have an Anker hub and an Amazon Basics hub that have both served for years without fail or issue of any kind.

Everything was plugged in correctly but the noise was still there. Needless to say, I returned the product back to the store.

I was only able to connect one item only. I even tried my drive and mouse and it did not work. I don’t recommend.

Not a good product, failed after 35 days of use

Useless warranty as for the shipping cost is again wasted on this inferior product, repaired. I would use the shipping cost towards a better new product than a warranty repair for this piece of junk.

New computer with 3.0 ports, so there should have been no compatibility issue. Tried it with and without the optional power cord, ended up returning.

Frequent Disconnects
