Only get this if you want it dangling from your computer and you don’t plan to transport it when you are on the go.

Bought the USB type c adapter and it crashed my laptop. Don't even want to try plugging this one in. Very concerned about j5 products now.

Useless. Did not work. Needed its own external power source. I replaced it with the Targus which was perfect.

I got this to assist in carrying less cords when I traveled. Plugged it in and didn't even charge my items.

We recently purchased a Mac which is great, except all the USB ports were on the back of the screen and it was a pain in the butt to have to turn around the screen every time you wanted to plug something in. The J5 Create USB Hub solved all our problems and keeps everything running, including external hard drives. It's powerful enough to charge our iPads and iPhones where other hubs were not able to.

I got this for my Surface Pro 3 after trying 2 defective Belkin hubs that were more expensive. Nice design, sleek and compact, and solid construction. Long cord is handy, too. Worked right off the bat. Haven't tried with power supply yet (didn't even realize it had one, and don't know that I will need it).

Not the best price for this adapter, others are cheaper. But it was the only one BB had when I bought it. All 4 ports are USB3, not just one port as a previous poster stated. You can tell a USB3 port from the blue color. It works as advertised and seems to be a quality product. I never owned this brand before so I could not give the highest rating for durability. It doubles as a fast charger for any accessories with a USB jack. You can use this hub to fast charge your cellphone, ipad, tablet, etc. It will fast charge up to 1.5A.

I purchased this for my son as he needed more USB ports on his laptop he uses for school, talking with friends and gaming. He has been using it for 4 months with no issues or complaints. I purchased it because it was USB 3.0 with no required external power. The only complaint is the price all of these devices are priced to high. It should be a $20 device.

If you own a PS4 your going to want this. Product looks good and All USB ports are working for me.

I purchased this hub after returning the Belkin hub that didn't mount my USB 3.0 4TB hard drives. This one costs less, the power cord is longer and the USB cable is not bulky as the Belkin hub had. My esteem for j5create is very high because of this product. I look forward to purchasing future j5create products.

I purchased this at a brick and mortar BBY store. Using the power cord the hub connected usb3 drives to a mid 2012 MBP Retina 15" running Yosemite at usb3 speeds. The charging usb port does charge a Samsung Note 3 faster than a regular usb port even when not connected to a computer. This is a solid little hub.

This is a good port to extend USB functionality on your laptop, Has 4 ports and does not take a lot of room on your desk.

Purchased the hub for the USB 3.0 and power option. Now can use multiple 3.0 devices including external hard drive and hub power lighted logitec gaming keyboard and mouse.
