The JUH377 is a plug and play USB 3.0 hub. It has an optional power supply that can help support a higher powered USB device plugged into the hub. Glad to hear that it is working out for you.

Posted .Adding peripherals such as mice, keyboards, flash drives, web cameras, and more to your laptop is only one hub away. Providing 7 ports for accessories in one eliminates the need of unplugging one device to use the other.

Tried using multiple devices on it (external hard drive, wi fi headset, recharge phone and ear buds) and it doesn't always work well (i.e. can't always see my hard drive). It may be my system so can't blame this item. Not totally unhappy. Still finding ways to use it efficiently.
