Just wanted a quick network adapter for a wired connection for my laptop that only has bluetooth and wifi built in. This fit the bill, plugs in to my USB 3.0 socket and delivers great high speed connection. Worked first time no problems.

Allowed me to connect directly to my digital audio mixer. No more lost wifi signal problems.

Both my wife and I use this at home for our company laptops. Fantastic product.

Compact and well made. Works fine, might take a little extra effort to set up but worth it as you never know when reliable WiFi may not be available at a hotel, etc. Also WiFi is generally not secure connection away from home. If I'm not mistaken, this adapter could be useful during power outage when a home router could not function unless by alternate power.

Lightening from an angry thunder storm fried the ethernet card in my desktop computer, as well as the modem supplied by my TV and Internet service. The technician that replaced my modem recommended this adapter after I told him I'd have to buy a new computer. He couldn't have been more RIGHT! I purchased this adapter, which took me about 5 minutes to install and to get things up and running. I couldn't be more pleased! I'm 70 years old and am not in any way knowledgeable with the ways of new technology these days. Five minutes was all it took and was so, so easy. I'm thankful for the advice of that technician and thankful for this user friendly adapter. Saved me headaches, frustration, and the price of a new computer!!!! YAY!!!!!

I had been having issues with my laptop internet speed for years never allowing over 75 to 80 Mbps. Seems that the Ethernet Card in my laptop would not allow anything over 100 Mbps. I didn't know the j5create ethernet adapter even existed until I did some online research. I am now getting over 225 Mbps all the time.

Product worked great, All you have to do is plug the Ethernet cord and plug in to your computer ; It will automatically connect to Ethernet . Great product for price. It does work for ChromeBooks.

good product, I had my network out look not working for some reason, so I had to use that instead, and it worked like a charm... not lagging, nothing.

It's working for the Nintendo Switch which is why I purchased it. Connected to internet first, waited a few minutes (per instructions) and then plugged it into the dock.

The LAN adapter on my laptop died out of warranty, and I didn't want to go to the expense of replacing the motherboard or the laptop. This was a reliable, easy way to restore ethernet capability to my laptop. It was easy to install, and works great.

I have a Lenovo Thinpad Helix that I use at the office and when I'm about. But at the office I have a wired connection and no ethernet port . This works out very well, since it uses the USB3 port and I have fast wired internet.

Well...it actually turned out to be the wrong item for what I was looking for... (needed ethernet to type c, that'll teach me to read the labels lol) But! The j5create customer service team is one of the finest I've encountered. Diana, the employee who helped me out that day, recommended the brand to me, saying it was generally better quality; though I never actually got to test that out, I'm gonna guess she was right on that one!

I bought this converter because the Toshiba 2 in 1 laptop (10.6 inch screen) I also purchased, did not have a dedicated Ethernet port....nice to have it available when needed, like when at home, doing a extra long or critical download. But usually would use on a wireless connection, when traveling. So now I can have both the USB port option or the Ethernet port option by using this converter. Yes it is true that I am giving up a USB port, when I use this converter, but at least I can have the Ethernet when I need it. I have been using this device for over a month and it has worked without a single problem. An even better option would be the alternate model of this device where it has an extra USB also built into the one converter...then I would not lose any USB ports while the Ethernet was in use.

It works great. easy to connect and doesn't take long to load. Not expensive and worth the money.

Bought this to setup a new wifi router using my Surface Pro. The Surface found this device as soon as I plugged it in, downloaded the necessary drivers and I was up and running in a few minutes. Worked great for my needs.

Easy to use. Fast. Gets the job done. Dislike the fact you cant just plug the cables straight into laptop

It enables my Laptop computer to have a quicker & stronger connection to the internet & wifi. It is valuable. My laptop needs this Ethernet Adapter.
