Quick fix for an annoying problem

HDMI adapter for Conference Room

I stopped by and reviewed the various options and found what we needed. The cable works great!

Used with tv/pc

Finding more and more pcs don't have a vga port and hooking up to reg tvs now. Used this with a laptop and hooked up to tv. had to make adjustment on the tv like most to fit correctly but you have to make sure the drivers are installed.

However, my friend has a Mac laptop and it didn't even do plug-n-play or anything. So I assume you'd have to install the software before use. But great with the Surface Pro 4. I'd recommend it!!

Also use at home with the TV when looking at stuff on the computer. I found I could plug it into my receiver rather than the tv and have it work too. Check before using to make sure you have HDMI and USB connections in close proximity.

Excellent device, with reasonable limitations

Note that I did need to install the drivers for it to be recognized (off the J5create site -- they also include a disc) when using Windows 8.1
