I found the design to be lacking due to the shortness of the connection device when used with my ASUS C302 chromebook. The device struggles to find room to stay attached to the CB and ends up at an odd angle to the CB,causes some worry that its going to break the port

This product works great! I use it to charge my tablet and drive 2 monitors which I have hooked up to a wavlink USB docking station. No need for a laptop anymore.

This was a great add on to my daughters Macbook. She uses it at college when she needs to plug in to a printer, memory stick or HD cord. Very useful!!!!

This little accessory is great let's me put a flash drive on my MacBook and charge it at the same time works great very useful

Nice product but will not connect when my MacBook cover is on, have to use a dongle style.

The advantage of this unit is that you can charge and get the USB port without dealing with cable deterioration. It's solid. I am no fan of USB C to begin with. This unit only allows charging and USB funtions. No audio. No video. No LAN. Does what it says. Solid.

It does what it says, converts USB-C to USB 3.0 and it's fairly inexpensive. The only issue I have is that it can get a little loose while plugged into my MacBook Pro. So far it's only actually come undone once when I bumped it, but it could be a snugger fit.

This is a critical item when using a tablet as an auxiliary cabled monitor with one of the apps that lets you use a tablet as a secondary monitor over a USB cable. Just run a data/charge cable from your tablet to the USB 2 port on the bridge and plug your wall power brick into the USB C port in the bridge and you can simultaneously charge your laptop & tablet while using the tablet as an external monitor. This dongle should be bundled with every one port USB-C machine.

Good extra port. Fits snug. Hopefully will stay that way.

This adapter is a must have for mac computers considering it does not have a regular usb slot.

This product is nice if your not looking for a bulky adapter for your Mac. It’s small and fits easily in a bag or laptop case.

It does everything in the description. Power passthrough works, all my USB-A peripherals work and it's relatively compact. My only issue is that depending on what you're using it for, it could apply excessive torque to the USB-C connector. I didn't measure it or anything, and maybe I'm overly cautious, but when I see it flex out of alignment with the rest of the laptop, I get nervous. That said, it hasn't caused any issues. If I were to do it again, I'll just get a more expensive expansion dock with more ports and a corded connector.

This is a so-so product. It comes loose often. I think it's more the Mac design than the product. Hard to tell because this is the only USB for my Mac, so I cannot compare it to others.

Just what my Dell XPS 2 in 1 needed. An additional USB-A port for older devices. Will be great once more things move to this type of connector.

Needed this for my new laptop for backup. It's a good size, works well and I don't worry about backing up my files.for a good price.

My new computer doesn't have any external ports, so this is the only way I can add an external mouse.

This 20 dollar adapter has worked much better than the 79 dollar adapter on my MacBook (12" - 2016).

Device does exactly what is needed without crippling speed for usb or charging speed
