Pass through power not strong enough.

This did not work with pass through power. I suspect it does not have enough wattage as advertised. It did not reach the 65W needed to recharge my lap top.

65w cord needed

This does not charge my laptop with a 5w USB-C phone charging cord plugged into the "power in" port. I needed to use a 65w standard laptop cord with USB-C. I should have bought the dock with more USB-A ports.

The JCD396 requires a higher-wattage USB-C power adapter (like your 65 W laptop charger) plugged into the Power In port to properly charge your laptop and support the dock’s functions. A low-watt phone charger won’t provide enough power for laptop charging.

The cord /head plug is of bad quality and broke off within 4 month of usage. The return/exchange policy didn't covered this because it was past the return/exchange policy.
