Posted .Due to the driverless nature of the JCD383, all you have to do is connect the multi adapter to your computer, connect to Ethernet, monitors, pass through charging all in one and you're all set.

Plug it into the usb c port and not the lightning port if using it for Ethernet. It charges my computer.

Quality USB Mutli Adapter that Works as Advertised

I was a little skeptical purchasing a j5create product because I've never heard of this brand before, but it works as advertised and adds USB and HDMI functionality that was left off by Apple on my MacBook Pro. One of the USB ports is powered, so that is convenient when using a USB peripheral that requires USB power. Also, this is a stylish Multi Adapter that fits in with the look of my MacBook Pro.

Posted .Hello Yaboyneeko, the JCD383 has an aluminum housing, this is meant to conduct heat away from the internal parts, it can get warm because of that but should not be too hot to handle. Its a great little tool, it also comes in handy for the use of my camera SD cards!
