I purchased this for a hard wired ethernet connection for zoom calls and a second monitor while working from home during the pandemic. Worked great then stopped working after iOS update. J5 support sent me a new device after a lengthy trouble shooting process and me having to follow up multiple times. The second device worked great for a few weeks and now is no longer working. Would not recommend based on my experience with this product.

Well some of the ports work. I want to return it but feel it’s too late at this point as I’m looking to buy another brand and hopefully with all the ports working. The USB C on mine doesn’t work at all. But if you like u should buy.

I purchased this to go with new MacBook 16' with macOS 10.15. Opened the package and there are 2 warnings for Mac users to download drivers first. There is also one warning that this does not work with macOS 10.15 I will have to return and continue looking for something that will work.

This device is amazing helps me stay connected with my work. I have my headphones, keyboard and Ethernet connected. It’s small so does not take up space on my desk. Works extremely well. I am glad I chose to buy this from Best Buy.

It works pretty much plug and play which is awesome. Tried on a mac and a pc and it worked great on both. It definitely runs a little bit hot. It's a little bit pricey for what it is. It should be a little more like 20 bucks less than the 59 dollar sticker price compared to elsewhere but the ability to walk into a store and grab it off the shelf is a value add.

Works great , so bit this because my desktop died and wanted to convert my Chromebook to my everyday computer, hooked up mouse , keyboard, monitor , everything works great! Even made my Chromebook more secure with a hardwired Ethernet connection Very happy

It is a good product...just wish it had a port for my old printer...the plug on my printer will not fit...

Thus far, only used it to provide a direct connect to the internet for faster upload, and all worked as expected. It’s small/compact which I liked and light weight, easy to transport.

My new Dell laptop for work was missing an Ethernet port . Even though it had built-in wireless network, I really needed a wired network for work. My Laptop only had 2 USB ports, but did have one of the newer USB-C ports. This USB-C hub with Ethernet port worked perfectly for utilizing the USB-C port on my laptop while also providing me with an Ethernet port I needed and extra USB 3 ports. As a bonus it also has an HDMI port for my external display. A lot of reviews on other USB-C hubs I read about had compatibility problems or with USB ports not working. This hub worked perfectly without any problems or needing any drivers for Windows 10. It also doesn't need any bulky power adapter either.

Was told I could use charge the laptop but it didn't have enough watts to do it. was able to use it to connect external monitor to laptop

I use this adapter to connect to my ultra slim laptop to my all-in-one unit to extend the display when working on complex spreadsheets or multiple applications. The unit has a HDMI connection and a type-C power in connector which allows my new laptop to recharge during use. The unit connects via Micro USB connector and has 2 standard sized USB ports as well. It is lightweight and slim so it fits into my briefcase without a lot of added bulk. The unit was recommended by the onsite Lenovo rep and Best Buy sales associate because it is reliable and has a good mix of port options for older and newer devices. The product works well for my purposes and I am satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this product for my new Surface GO which does not have the regular USB port. It came with only one adaptor to convert the newer USB 3.0 to the older type of USB port. I used all the features without any issue. What I like the most is that it is well built and it comes with everything needed for connecting a laptop to other devices. It is easy to connect cables to the different ports. I connect the HDMI to my TV and to a secondary monitor. With HDMI at 1080p worked with my TV, which is not a 4K. This is my first time using this type of product on newer laptops with USB 3.0 port. After many uses without issues, I recommend this product.

Performs as advertised. I like the compact size and the multiple connections in one place. Easy to take with you if necessary.

I have a great new laptop, but it has only two USB-C ports. I bought this adapter, even though my husband thought it was over priced. I didn't realize that my laptop came with an adapter and almost returned this product. Good thing I didn't because I ended up needing two adapters to give a presentation at my local library - one for the projector, one for a thumb drive. Maybe I could have found a cheaper product, but this was available and got the job done.

I bought this for my girlfriend's laptop about a month ago to get a couple of extra USB Type 3 ports for streaming purposes. It gets a little hot but it's not too bad. I've also used it on my Macbook Pro, which is probably where a device like this shines since it only has two USB-C ports. I used it to connect to my TV with an HDMI cable and it worked with no problems.

This is a very useful peripheral to keep in your computer bag to use for different external devices whose required ports are no longer found on new computers. The only other solution is to buy all new peripherals that can plug into your computer. And that’s not realistic for most people.

I’m so glad I bought this made my job simple just plug and play, my laptop don’t have one coming out and I needed one for my printer, and works great with no disconnect while using.
